@Misery: I'll check the Cockrockdisco album out, you gotta check out Glowstyx (Bong-Ra) it's a 90's rave mashup thing, awesome if you've listened to prodigy and oldskool rave tunes :thumbsup:
old is mold :D

yeah, I think I once heard it. I did like it, gonna look for it now :)
when I was 12 or 13, I was a huge prodigy fan, haha :D

I Listen Can.
A progressive Psychedelic Rock (kraftRock) group from Germany at 70s.
If you havent listed to them you should.
Download or buy :roll: the "monster movie" .
Or the Psychedelic sounds of 13th floor elevator.
Rock n Roll is not Dead.
The mystery of thirteen crystal skulls is my favorite album.

you mean krautrock? krautrock is good. one of the few parts of rock I can enjoy, I got some from my father. I guess he was listening to it when he was my age and tripping :D
If you like can, you should check out Amon Düül II, Gila, and Faust, if you don't know them already :)

Yes krautrock. I didnt know them! I have studying . Thank you :)

Before one year a known guy put me a song . It was like auditory dmt experience this i can describe it. In the song souls luffing from very deep into a dark background. I am searching like mad to find this music, but i cant.
Do you have any idea of something like this?

woa no idea. I'm sorry.

If you want some music, pm me, and I'll go online in soulseek, so that you can download some of mine. because stuff like gila was hard to find.

I forgot one brilliant band: Guru Guru. their best album is wah wah

Amon Duul II FTW!!! :mrgreen:

Can is also awesome! :D

Cool to see such different opinions on music (wich I'm really familiar with :mrgreen:)

The name Krautrock sounds so stupid in German that I never even considered listening to it for most of my life. The name made me think of stupid German farmers playing stupid farmer's music ("Kraut" means cabbage, so what stupid thing would "cabbage-rock" be?).
Now I know better and really like to listen to it sometimes.

I'm just listening to a new band (new to me) that could be really nice for tripping. They call themselves "A Whisper in the Noise"
Their music is pretty sad and depressive, but I love it (the sad/depressive stuff often has a certain mystical power)

I liked that name :). and I think that Kraut refers to cannabis, as we are calling cannabis Kraut sometimes. not in the manner of cabbage of course :D. just as people from the usa call it weed, which is Unkraut in German
just think of cannabis-rock :D

Do you guys have soulseek? we could open a psychonaut channel there to exchange some music :) would be cool I guess.

I am in. Very interesting :D

I opened it, it's called psychonauts
come and join :)

Opiates=>Alison Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Archive & Air
Cannabis=>Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Led Zep, other classics & anything with a guitar
Psychedelics=> Classic music, jazz
Other Drugs=> Nothing particular

Other Drugs=> Nothing particular

I have a very particular request for music on "other drugs" (amphetamine, mdma): Moonbootica, Oliver Huntemann, Ziel 100, Hacienda ...

Cannabis+Salvia=nothing. I get the maddest music in my head all by itself (especially at higher levels of cannabis.. it just happens!). Although one time I tripped on Salvia while listening to an older Orb album (their real psychedelic phase, like mid 90's) and all the synth leads suddenly turned into chanting female voices. amazing beautiful auditory experience. I've tried salvia in silence several times and every time I heard chants, rhythms and loops, really interesting..

Mushrooms+Acid=Making music. Nothing beats playing on instruments at the height of a synesthesic experience.. the sense of ritual.. the sense of time is just immense, sometimes it feels like your hands are just falling into an invisible groove that is already there, or you are creating geometrical structures.. When listening to music I tend to prefer really textural, timbral music with more shuffling beats, like ritual drumming.. oh yeah electronic like autechre that just excites the ears and creates visuals.. i think i prefer rock more on cannabis (kraut rock totally, can.. neu! etc), a straight beat can sometimes annoy me on acid and i find myself cringing for a change.. (I love aphex twin, but not on acid, or at least the new stuff of his I listened to recently on a trip, even tho i like it while sober. go figure :-/)

"A Whisper in the Noise"

:prayer:

It's really good, I like it :)

The sabbath dubs were cool, too.

I find Massive Attack to be really cool when chillin high, if you haven't heard them, their name is misleading :)

Has anyone heard Ishq?? I've found I like minimal ambient relaxing tunes but don't have much music like that, recommend me something!

I've almost completely moved into psytrance as my music of choice overall. Favorites at the moment are Alex Zik and Goa Gil.

Weird I haven't hear anybody about the new Younger Brother yet...

isnt bad at all, maybe i was expecting something more from younger brother but its good.
cant wait for ''ott - skylon'' to come out..(good organic psychedelic dub ambient :roll: )

Well that's the thing, I think a lot of people expected a new Younger Brother/Sphongle freaked album, but it deffinitely reminds me of Royksopp.
Their first album was quite different, where in the second album they put a lot of familiar sounding (more commercial) sounds and melodies.

I do think this style appeals more to the old Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield and Psychedelic fans.
I've sold a bunch to people over 40 :mrgreen:
