Yeah exactly, the coup against Chavez a couple of years ago where apparently, the Bush administration had some business with. "Surplus: How we are being terrorized into consumers' is an excellent documentary to get a bit of perspective on South America's in relation with Bushes empire.
*makes note to start a discussion in politics tonight about this.

Hi, I'm kind of new here.
1st of all, you guys have excellent works! This is really a good font to see very nice art, and "see" what your minds are up to...
Well, I always liked to draw here and there, but never spended time on it, or never "wasted" ( as I saw it ) time with it. So, some months ago, I started making some drawings... and started to really like to draw, and found some way to express some things through it.
A curious thing, when I finish my drawings, when i look at them, I cant "believe" i made them, like "I draw that?". Not that they are good or nothing even close, but I can't, in some way, believe or what ever, that I actually made them! Just because I never gave my time to draw, and suddenly i enjoy it!

random, i must say that you gained a new fan. i love your drawings. the first one seemed like a photograph at first. it amazes me what a single sheet of paper and a pencil can do, and the multiple results it can have...congratulations!

I like your works, I guess you have a good taste for shapes and a certain sensitivity in textures. But maybe your works are too simple (I agree sometimes it has to be so)
I feel exactly the same, when you're dissocied from your drawings. I mean when you are in drawMOD you use your pencil without thinking "I should put a certain pressure to get this effect" or "i should apply this method to give this render". Then when you're in drawMOD-off , you explore the drawing in many other ways including "mathematic" logic...
(my english is poor and It's hard to talk about such deep things with a small amount of words)

Daytripper, I think photoshop "auto-levels", that adjust the light and the two colors, helped a bit to make the trees more real I guess.. The white spaces seem too shiny, so as the black ones too dark.. So I think it's kind of "overrated" that drawing!

Well ????????, I don't know what technique I use, I just draw and try to make some effects with the fingers and stuff like that. I like to draw with black pens to!

wow, very nice random. the first one is my favourite, it has some kind of industrial feeling to me
the eye is very cool too, maybe if you edited the camera out of the eye, it would be even better
if you like kitchy stuff, you might like the following photo

I was thinking of Studying Photography and just travel all over the world, (3rd world countries) and take pictures and, I don't know, ware people of what is happening... and/or travel looking for this or that living thing and picture it, going to africa and make a huge picture of a Lion jumping on me, but I just role over and climb up a tree damn... it's a Dream!!

I want you to carry on your way in plastic arts, you manage your space quiet nicely , you can find pretty shapes , you can feel all the different levels and textures...
may I ask how old you are? and what you do of your life ?
Can you tell me what's the best setting for you to be creative ? (alone in a dark room, drinking some glasses in a bar,...)

Yourownworld, at the moment I'm working in a store concerting shoes, purses and stuff like that. And well, since I work there, when I get the inspiration for it , I like to make stuff like wallets, rings, wires (necks and wrists), and other stuff like that...
thinking of making a little store at "Festival Andanças" here in portugal in august!
I'm 21 but still trying to be a child
Well, setting? I don't know... I usually just draw when I have really a feeling for it.
But usually I got these feeling at work. Just sit down, put the pad above my legs, ear some music and let those hands draw at their will
Hey just draw what you like... don't draw to please the others. Just read some critiques that people give to your works, and try to apply them next time (doesn't mean you have to). If you enjoy yourself, what else matters?
In my opinion I think you have a great line with your hand... but your drawings seem much like each other you know what I mean? moldyb wrote some great critique to your work, you should read it closely!
