There's also these compost bags you can buy, where you inoculate the bag and shake it up..then you put it in a shaded area. You're seposed to be able to grow a whole bunch.

I would like to correct you on this one

Better put the bags in a dark place until the are totally covered with the mycelium.

Mycelium has a funny thing, it reacts on light which makes it pin. Thats why the darkness thing is better.

And ofcoarse a warm high for everybody and a cyberhugh for Petra

Rye is used for cattle food. Thats why the windmill in my area is grounding it. Food for cattle. So if you live in such a area a good change the rye kind of things are around.

There are was without Rye!!!

Make a solution honey and water (sterile etc), inoculate the solution with spores. Mycelium starts growing. Suck mycelium into syringe and transport it on pasturized or sterilezed wheat straw.

This was just a very simple explanation of a nice methode !!!
