I drank regularly, but indeed no electrolytes. I could try BZP again one day and see if taking trace minerals will help.Ahuaeynjxs a dit:It dehydrates ALOT, you probably forgot to drink lots of water with electrolytes while tripping !
Faust a dit:Have you seen/read 'Awakenings' ? A problem occured with administering L-dopa, the patients got habituated and L-dopa lost it's effect.
Mystic, do you already know the name of the herbal X you took? I personally doubt it would contain BZP, unless the smartshop sold it from under the counter. I accidentily dosed myself with 200mg about a year ago. It felt just like MDMA, but lasted much longer and left me with a terrible headache.
Mucuna Pruriens, also known as Cowhage, and velvet bean contains a very powerful neurotransmitter pre-cursor L-Dopa. Mucuna pruriens is a reputed remedy of Ayurveda in nervous and sexual diseases. Traditionally, Mucuna pruriens is commonly used as carminative, hypertensive and hypoglycemic agent. Mucuna pruriens has been found to contain L-DOPA, 40 mg/g of the plant. The plant/seeds contain the bioactive alkaloids mucunine, mucunadine, mucuadinine, pruriendine and nicotine, besides B-sitosterol, glutathione, lecithin, oils, venolic and gallic acids. Studies in experimental model show L-Dopa also helps in the reduction of cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Khat is used for its stimulant effects. The effects are similar to but less intense than those of methamphetamine or cocaine. Fresh leaves are chewed and dried leaves are smoked, made into a paste and chewed, or brewed in tea. Used moderately, khat alleviates fatigue and reduces appetite. Long term use or abuse can cause insomnia, anorexia, gastric disorders, depression, liver damage and cardiac complications. Manic behavior, delusional behavior, violence, suicidal depression, hallucinations, paranoia and khat-induced psychosis have also been reported.
In addition to levodopa, Mucuna also contains serotonin (5-HT), 5-HTP, nicotine, N,N-DMT (DMT), bufotenine, and 5-MeO-DMT. As such, it could potentially have psychedelic effects, and it has purportedly been used in ayahuasca preparations.[15]
