The Lucifer Effect - Philip Zombargo (psychology)

Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Nietzsche (best in German, if you can)

What does it mean to be human? - Alan T. Wood (quite interesting book about Freedom and Authority)

Justine - Marquis de Sade (M. de Sade = "inventor" of Sadism)

lots of others.

And if we`re there:

Brave New World, of course. Bad luck Huxley fucked up soma and made it to a negative drug...

And Fahrenheit 451. I like Fahrenheit.

i've heard the "The Teachings of Don Juan" might be of any use.

"The Ingenious Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha"

A picture of necessity for those in need of, that is, in search of, sacred lunacy, that is, the night of the soul, the child of star and red sky above.

restin a dit:
Marquis de Sade
it took some time to sink in, but The 120 Days of Sodom really helped me solidify my morals as a young man

 yeah altough I don't like it that much any more...

further:

Cannabis- Martin Brooks

the Hyperion series (Dan Simmons) the first sci-fi i enjoyed reading
Ancient Evenings (Norman Mailer) a masterpiece IMO
anything by RA Wilson is worth a read esp. Cosmic Trigger and the Shrodingers cat trilogy

This side of Paradise (David Bellamy)
Wild Flower Key ( Francis Rose) the most importaint book to me
