Specifically:
Who believes that psychadelics can transport your mind to other dimensions, realms, that you cannot possibly obtain sober?

Who believes that they are simply mind-altering chemicals, and can make bizarre effects on the conciousness (or anything other than transporting the mind else-where)?

I believe the above, and i think anybody who has ever tried psychedelics and is mentally healthy will believe in it too. I feel it also broadens your perceptions and vision and kills your ego. Also, they can be used to have fun in moderation.

They are drugs .

they are drugs, and the two options are misleading... you have to chose the first option, 'cause you can't get the drugs effect without drug.

I mean, in most cases. My body doesn't know how to produce psilocybin :D
but for the rest, I' m for the second option.

they just alterate my consciousness by chemical changing... the rest, the spiritual part, the understanging, it's up to me

They are drugs.

I think they are tools in the correct hands.

New dimensions and Realities are possibly real but however, I doubt it.

I guess its more like a new perception? Psychedelics allow one to think out side the box imagining new realities and dimension in this new found sense of perception???

I'd like them to take me to another reality, however my experience is that they usually give me a new and fresh view on the current reality which usually destroys my built up prejudices and other negative emotions

Yes, they are really mind-altering, for they alter the way signals are passed on through the nervous system. Whatever other 'dimension' one enters, it's brought into being with the onset of the drug, and fades into nothingness when the body returns to the serotonine mode. It's not that you visit an ontological reality 'out there' or 'in there', it's not that doors are opened. The drug 'creates' the doors of the realm that you then enter. You don't witness a hidden part of your psyche, but an altered version of your psyche, in some cases altered so much and so suddenly that it's not even that much of a psychological or psychedelic experience anymore.

if you put it inside you, it´s a drug. All foods included.

they are drugs, but i prefer to think of them as tools

They are molecules. Molecule + user makes the drug, tool, whatever...

I believe I got 2 for the first, and the rest for the second?

Sorry I really tried to word them as best I could.

I strongly, only believe in the second. I could never believe I'm being transported, changed, or moved conciously by a drug. I would really love to understand conciousness, and thus understand what these molecules do to it.

drugs are tools when used with intent. i take them when i want the effects they produce. this goes from anything from a tylenol to kill a bad headache/fever to a little j to give me a different perspective on something, or a pinch of psychedelic to explore my consciousness in general

not to solve world problems but to help you get aware of how life is put together

This.

I think it's possible to travel to other realities, but not necessarily only under the influence of psychedelics. Meditation can open the mind up to such things as well.

Then again, maybe we're all just using parts of our brains that haven't been properly researched and mislabeling the effects. ;D

Welcome to the forum PsychedelicPirate .

It would be realy cute if there were fairys but there arent .

Welcome to Psychonaut PsychedelicPirate :)

God, Prove it ;)

We are merely theorizing, hence the fact we say things like "Possibly" and "Maybe". To say fairy's dont exist is a big statement, Granted no one has proved the existence but no one has disproved it either.... Im on the fence

Its a barbed wire fence be carefull .

I dont have to prove that fairys dont exist . The people that claim they do have to offer proof . We live in a world based on "facts" in something that we as a group call "reality" just because some people can imagine fairys and claim that they exist doesnt prove anything and it doesnt make what they say "facts" or "reality" . There is a sub group defined by psychiatrist , psychologists and normal people called "loonys" for people like that .

So whats the collective term for people that have experienced alternate realities and dimensions thru psychedelics?
