HOLLY SHIT :| !!!

I still don't understand why in 2008 there are still people like him or McCain or Sarah Palin ...

Nestle for dumping contaminated baby formula on African markets.
Most chocolate companies for sorcing 85% of their cocoa from sources utilizing child slave labour.
Coca-cola for being a major sponsor at the Nuramburg rallies in the late thirties.
Nike, Reebok, GAP, et al...sweat shops.
Exxon!!!
KFC history of financial contributions to KKK and white supremicist organisations.
McDonalds for destruction of rainforests to facilitate farming of beef through out the Americas north and south.
Most of the Veal, Pork, Egg, Beef, Dairy industries for factory farming, unless other wise specified.
Haliburton.
Major grocery chains for attempting to gain compleat control of the distribution of food and effectivly creating oligopolys restricting competition and fixing prices.
Pharmacutical companies for coluding with government to restrict consumer choice, control drug markets and restrict access to naturally sourced drugs. Coluding with doctors to control distribution of drugs. Also through their collution with governmens and medical fraternity creating a black market for the trafficing of illicet drugs and forming a criminal underclass of ordinary citizens who have had their right to consume restricted and their actions criminalized.
The financial services industry for creating another recession.

I think if I went and researched this topic instead of just typing off the top of my head I would find nearly all companies have done something unethical, criminal, or morally corrupt. It is pobably impractical to boycott every company but, as consumers our power comes from our ability to direct our dollars in the market place. Real change comes from affecting the biggest companies causing them to change and effecting change down the line in that way eg. Macca's using ethical coffee. Nike feeling the economic impact of customers boycotts. It is a slow process but, change does come.

I guess "think globally act locally".

and myspace-ummmmmmm, howsabaout not. the satan king of monopoly media rednecked closeminded biggottry named-dare i say it-rupert murdock owns it, so no, dont support it!
I love MySpace, or at least I loved it when I still participated (writing bulletins, blogs etc.). Murdock bought MySpace about half a year after I started using it, but I still don't experience any type of censorship. If you don't want to support Murdock, simply don't click on any banners. But that applies to the Internet in general.

I also love using Google and its related services like Gmail and Google Video.

Google Agenda is quite nice too (as is the entire office package they run online).

I'll die before ending on Facebook, but that's just because I wanna be anti-conformist.
