I think Caduceus is trying to say that you're overreacting on the speculations on how the virginbirth developped in sharks.
It's just a speculation and you're already ranting about how humans are bad and female Black Widow Spiders eat they're males after copulation.

So, just relax, nobody is attacking you, or sharks, or black widow spiders or animals in general.

Please, elaborate your answers, I don't think i am talking with a 5 year-old. And don't tell me your are joking, because your previous post is an attempt in being serious.

Exactly, the last post was serious, to clarify things for you. But the original statement, "Perhaps female sharks learned to reproduce themselves independently, because mating with a mean male shark is such a risky undertaking" was obviously not meant as a serious opinion or theory.
I don't see any need to elaborate on my answers, for I've been clear enough in my last post.

My problem is: when one makes a statement, I hope that it will be backed up by facts and proofs. If it isn't so, what's the point in this kind of threads ? Speaking our minds ? Perhaps then, we should get ourselves some real world friends and let the internet forums a place to objective reasoning. Perhaps next time I'll start a thread "psychedelic users are loonies that mix drugs with esoterism". And when you start ranting, Ill state that "peace out, nobody's serious on this...I'm only here to have a great time".

You're assuming I will start ranting... I invite you to share your opinions, feelings and thoughts with us, and you are also most welcome to share facts, figures and hard evidence. When you share your opinion simply add words like "perhaps", "I think..." or "I feel..." When you've got some solid facts, simply add a link or other reference to the evidence. That's what I usually do.

can you tell the boy from the girl? the claspers are inserted inside the cloaca during copulation. although mating is a mystery with many shark species it is known that for some it is very violent and there are reports of males and females drowning during copulation. the skin of many females is especially thick to protect her from the fierce bites of the male during copulation.

im not saying thats the reason for shark parthenogenesis, many species reproduce asexually, sometimes its a characteristic of the species and other times its only a few individuals within a group
