. I don't know.

i think its udderly fucked, and it pissed me off.

especally the part with the girl who was injured.
i heard an "oh well" in there. wtf?! :evil:

The thing is, apart from the fact that this video shows something absolutely horrible, I can't manage to decide whetever this kind of situation is a "common" thing in war or if this one is way more fucked up than what's usually happening.

it's sad but the killing of innocent is a common thing in most wars.
It's even more sad that most of the killers never get brought to justice.

in my opinion this is by the book war(the van was a bit overkill tho).

its just the fact that stuff like this is going on. :( its really ashaim.

I was shocked when they just open fired. The men were wearing white button down shirts... I could tell they weren't soldiers. Then when people came to try to rescue them... The van... Why would you do that? I just don't understand. Why are we just killing everyone with a 'gun'?

It is common. I don't know how common civilians die, but it has actually been such a problem that congress has passed a bill so the U.S. can no longer send airstrikes since the majority end up killing or maiming civilians, while only taking out 3-10 armed enemies. It's rather ridiculous how much weaponry the military uses, and to be honest, my opinion is just so they can test out new strategies and weaponry. They really don't need to use it.

Seventy percent of children are suffering from trauma-related symptoms according to a study of 10,000 primary school students in the Shaab section of north Baghdad, conducted by the Iraqi Society of Psychiatrists and the World Health Organization. "We're now finding an elevation of mental health disorders in children -- emotional, conduct, peer, attention deficit," according to Iraqi psychiatrist Hashimi. "A number are even resulting in suicide."

Horrible to see this. All of them killed because a camera was mistaken for an AK47.
I was expecting to see another video with soldiers laughing as they killed civilians. Fortunately that wasn't the case. Or only minimally. They sounded more like robots.
It was a case of one mistake leading to more mistakes. Tragic. :cry:

"Let me shoot 'em" He seemed angry that they weren't allowing the gunner to kill. Sickening.

Spice - I know why.

Haven't you met the people, didn't you go to highschool with these kids? College maybe? They are the kid in the back of the class in history saying
"Fuck those niggers!"
or
"Fuck those towel heads"

Why is a redundant question - it doesn't apply. They just don't see.

mistakes happen. in 2008 a Dutch cameraman was killed while reporting the Georgia Russia conflict.
But it's not always a mistake. Look at the Gaza massacre for example. according to wikipedia : Between 1,166 and 1,417 Palestinians where killed and thousands left homeless. During this conflict 13 Israelis where killed.

Why do we let the state of Israel get away with this mass murder?
unlike what you see in that video the Gaza massacre was not a mistake.
it was deliberate mass murder.

How can they be so casual??

"look at those dead bastards"
"nice" "nice"
"good shoot"
"thank you"

WTF!! as if they were playing a videogame...
Awful...sometimes is better to be "uninformed" :?

We Americans are big on feeling entitled. Not so much on taking responsibility. Nothing will become of this...sadly.

didn't watch the video. after reading the comments i didnt feel that i needed to.

I can't find anyone that can give me a legitimate reason as to why we are there in the first place. what people have said to asking why we are still there is "we have to finish what we started."
So Obama's first step to ending the war is sending 30,000 more troops in.... this country is nuts.

to this i quote A.J. Muste

"there is no way to peace, peace is the way"

well, you found someone who will tell you the whole, complete, simplistic truth;

they want it all....

(and won't stop because we ask nicely)

I am wondering why people are still surprised
by what those ruthless animals that are the u.s. government do?

The khmer rouge had camps, did horrible things.
The russians have goulags, do horrible things.
The nazi's had concentration camps, did horrible things.
Etc.

Now what do you think the u.s. does, and have?
I know they have camps in eastern europe even.
And it's not to park yer trailer and have a nice holliday.

Anyone knows what a fema camp is? Or a fema death train?
Look it up :)
Youtube can show it really nice to you.
Your heart will miss a few beats while you get disgusted with it.

Also, does anyone think the u.s. does not fit into the list above?

They wage wars. That's what their country largely is based on. Because you know,
the world we live in has a war driven economy pretty much.
It is also based on making money from sick people.
Curing people is NOT interesting, and bullets make money...
You do the math.

No illegal drug can compete with white collar drugs or war profits.

With war comes death, torture, mutulation and destruction.
Nothing good :) ever.
They just make us think it is for our own good to justify their actions.

The u.s. puppet is worse then the three above together ffs.

Not offending any nice u.s. citizens ofcourse :P

They do as they please, and will keep doing so untill somebody
kills off this mad cow.
There is no other solution.
There is no soft approach to it. Not anymore, it's been pushed it too far already...

It is kill the mad cow OR
{
"they" will keep on doing this untill either the whole world blows up
because somebody got pissed and finally got their hand on a proper bomb;

OR,

"they" have dominated all countries to the extend that "they" control everything.
Illuminati, bilderburg, whatever you call them. It's one and the same.
It's close already.
}

That's what i think of it.
Not watched the movie on here, i've seen it before.
This is a nice example of something that leaked out;
while obviously it was never supposed to be watched by "us".

And surely enough, when a few million have see nit on the net;
then you will see it on the news,
because then it looks like they report the truth; but no.
They just cover their ass by doing that.

Without the internet,
we would have NEVER seen this footage.

Yeah and all i said can be backed up with documentaries and other video's.
It's real.

Fight the power! :)/

The Evil Empire of Nazi Germany was brought down by an alliance of other Evil Empires. The only groups powerful enough to challenge the military might of the USA are other Evil Empires (Russia, China, Islam etc.). Clearly fighting the USA in a military way is going to lead to more misery. Moreover the evil (for example the pharmaceutical industry or the addiction to oil) isn't limited to the USA anyway.

Although global evil could be fought through the Internet and similar channels, unfortunately very few people are interested in compiling and publishing challenging information. And although it appears that the psychedelic movement is huge (see how many people flock to psyfestivals every year), most "alternative people" are more concerned with their private experiences and celebrations than engaging in practical intellectual activism. Lots of neo-hippies (who may or may not identify with the term "psychonaut") spend their weekends and holidays partying, trying out new RC's, making music or tripping balls in their bedroom. Of course that's their choice, freedom and human right, but those who do feel passionate about actively challenging the status quo often feel they're completely on their own in this endeavor, or supported by a very, very small group of like-minded souls.

Nothing has frustrated me more, these past two or three years. Why is the psychedelic movement so huge, but the amount of activism so insignificant? Why would anyone want to dance all night while there's so much misinformation and cruelty in the world? Why not spend every second of your free time, or at least a couple of hours each week, engaging in writing articles, translating books, creating video's, organizing lectures and so on? Time is running out. We must do something now.

I think how the soldiers acted just shows how war changes people. These were not extreme examples of "bad people", they were normal soldiers who are subjected to this insanity day by day, for years. Most of them have probably seen a friendly helicopter go down after it had been shot by somebody who might have just looked like a photographer - you never know these days. Insurgents don't wear uniforms - anybody could be one. And I guess that fact makes you crazy after a while.

I'm not saying they didn't do wrong. I am saying that everything about this war (and war in general) is wrong, and nobody should be there fighting.

1. I will always be surprised by murder, because I am not surrounded by it.

2. People dance and sing, because they aren't surrounded by it.

3. I don't write articles because I am not surrounded by it.

It is localised. I have never seena murder, I have never witnessed torture by my own eyes. This disgusts me because it is uncommon in the majority of the world. The majority of the world doesn't kill. Atleast not now, not people.

I don't know what I mean by any of that, what am I trying to say?
