How much is one gram

Is it safe to say 1 grams equals 1 joint?

I recently got busted by 2 police men while smoking with a friend walking in the street. After the usual threats and all that shit we talked a bit and they said that if a person carries 1 gram then NOTHING can be done to him/her; so says the law.

I want to be sure how much is a gram exactly to know whether I should worry or not next time!!

I'd say a mid sized joint can hold roughly 1g. Keep some scales handy for rolling.

1 gram is two good sized joints. A joint is usually 0.5 grams. Regular zig-zag papers will roll a 0.5 joint, unless it is REALLY fat.

A well rolled joint of the size of a cigarette contains between 1g and 1.5g, depending on how compact you roll it.

A gram can take on many shapes and sizes, so don’t just measure by eye.

In holland where weed is strong, a big joint is 0,5 g. out of 1 gram i easily have three joints.

if u roll it pure, 1 gram would fit in one regulat sized joint. if u mix with tobacco, it is a different story.
personaly i roll 0,5 g in a joint for one or two persons.

this happens in belgium and holland all the time.
During the seventies it was completely normal rolling pure. but nowadays... man man man..

Those must be FAT joints. I don't mix with tobacco, and I roll a fat joint with 0.5 grams. 1 gram would be very difficult to fit in a single paper.

From a small bag of 1,2 grams I roll 5 joints.
Must be lesser quality when you need 1 to 1,5 grams to feel something.

I buy what I call mids, but most of you probably know as dirt
With 1.25's I can roll about a mid sized joint with .6g and a decent sized joint with about 1g.

After this topic I started weighing out buds before I rolled them, and it's actually quite interesting.

Rolling joints with fresh weed kind of defeats the purpose of smoking weed since THC starts to become psychoactive, during the drying process. The way it's dried therefor influences the potency/effect.

Don't let our politicians find out, they'll probably legalize WET weed straight away and put a ban on dried

I usually roll around 1g in my joints, but that's only when I want to go fly =D =D =D Otherwise between 0,3 and 0,5 i guess depending on quality.
