Falling In Love?

Osho on love-

love is Fire-
It is because of the pain of love, millions of people live a loveless life. They too suffer, and their suffering is futile. To suffer in love is not to suffer in vain. To suffer in love is creative; it takes you to higher levels of consciousness. To suffer without love is utterly a waste; it leads you nowhere, it keeps you moving in the same vicious circle. The man who is without love is narcissistic, he is closed. He knows only himself. And how much can he know himself if he has not known the other, because only the other can function as a mirror? You will never know yourself without knowing the other. Love is very fundamental for self-knowledge too. The person who has not known the other in deep love, in intense passion, in utter ecstasy, will not be able to know who he is, because he will not have the mirror to see his own reflection.

Relationship is a mirror, and the purer the love is, the higher the love is, the better the mirror, the cleaner the mirror. But the higher love needs that you should be open. The higher love needs you to be vulnerable. You have to drop your armor; that is painful. You have not to be constantly on guard. You have to drop the calculating mind. You have to risk. You have to live dangerously. The other can hurt you; that is the fear in being vulnerable. The other can reject you; that is the fear in being in love. The reflection that you will find in the other of your own self may be ugly; that is the anxiety. Avoid the mirror. But by avoiding the mirror you are not going to become beautiful. By avoiding the situation you are not going to grow either. The challenge has to be taken. One has to go into love. That is the first step towards God, and it cannot be bypassed. Those who try to bypass the step of love will never reach God. That is absolutely necessary because you become aware of your totality only when you are provoked by the presence of the other, when your presence is enhanced by the presence of the other, when you are brought out of your narcissistic, closed world under the open sky.

Love is like a sea ...it is just endless.Love is both beautiful and dangerous love is not formation of a relationship,it does not end with a relationship tag,it is relating to the person, accepting him or her and giving unconditional love,Love is the only real thing worth doing. All else is secondary. If it helps love, it is good. All else is just a means, love is the end of it all....
I love him,and feels wonderful each moment with him seems to be eternal and feels like been under the open sky, blissful and in sync with the existence.

"Did Ohshit / Badwank learned that from falling in love with 78 rolles royces ?"

well i guess personal biases will always exist regarding him,but i guess its best to learn what makes sense to you,i mean how does it matter whether he had all these rolles royce or hand made rolex watches or if he abused valium ,hydrogen gas or whwtever shit he did.....i mean that is a completely different story.he might have gone crazy agreed but what he said makes absolute sense, atleast to me.....

"well i guess personal biases will always exist regarding him"

Good to see you are honest about your views . Personaly i think he said a few good things , but , i think the world would have been a better place without him . The uniforms were nice though..........

I think it would be interesting to do a survey and see how many esoteric loonys = astrology , bach flowers , crystals , i-ching , tarrot , kundalini and all the other bored housewife syndrom games have the roots of their sicknesss in badwank and / or his zombies .

have the roots of their sicknesss
I think it's a chicken or the egg question. You might ask what was the root of Bhagwan's popularity. For one thing, the ban on LSD made many people seek alternative ways to achieve enlightenment, and the Indian gurus were all received with open hands and lots of dollar notes. Though there were some Indian cults in the sixties themselves, they dramatically increased in number and size in the seventies.

Agree . I think badwank was the most western of the cults at that time and one didnt have to feel guilty about being a rich bastard or give anything up . No ascetics or disaplin . Everything was OK if you felt OK about it . = ignore guilt complexes and tabus . All you had to do was spend loads of money and wear orange pyjamas and you were part of an esoteric elite . It was abit like hippys . Middle class thick people with beards , spots , thick glasses , dwarves , fat people and anyone that didnt look like james dean or cliff richards were alowed to come out of their holes and have sex and be cool . And then when it got boring they could still go back home to their middle class / rich familys ........
