A lot of words are similar ......BUT its not that easy . Reading a sentance and understanding most of the words doesnt mean you understand what the sentance realy means . One small word can reverse the whole meaning . There are also words that look similar but dont mean the same .

You are right about certain words which you don't understand that can reverse the whole meaning. Or words that look similar but don't mean the same..

ah i guess is like how i can understand a bit portuguese and italian because i know spanish..

yepp. The same here for Norwegian and so on.

The same with Czech and Polish for Russian...

But not for Suomi. No one understands Suomi
