Here it is then: The Dreaming

Unfortunately I couldn't make Philippos moderator, because PhPbb doesn't recognize...oh wait, fixed! Φιλι

i liked The Dreaming because in The Sandman that's what they called Morpheus' realm.... >_>

I am immune to argumentation.

ah! perhaps i should hire Dr Ahuajenyx to pay you a visit in your dreams and convince you otherwise...

You could try, but perhaps I will forget my dreams as usual.

what happened to them?
The first guy slept less and less, and eventually started to have hallucinations. His personality changed from shy and friendly to sharp and witty. In public he started to behave like a clown, but because underneath he was a very smart guy, his jokes were often a little 'too funny'. After a couple of months of that he broke the cycle through medication, and became his common self again.

The other person had a friend come over for the weekend. We smoked some grass and ate shrooms, the first day everyone was fine. That night he went somewhere with that guy, smoking freebase coke, and staying up all night. The next night he also didn't go to sleep. On monday he was very fired up about religion and spirituality. He had a big grin on his face and was talking incessantly. After one or two days he told me that he was entering a psychosis, that he recognized it from before. He tried to get himself help, in a mental hospital, but they wouldn't admit him. So he put some ping pong balls in his pocket, and then purposefully got himself busted, was taken to the police station, where he was put in a waiting cell. There he took out his ping pong balls and created a fire. The police then declared him nuts and forced the mental hospital to take him in, so he got what he wanted. After that he was a drugged zombie for years, first in that hospital and later at home. In 2001 he accidentily locked himself out of his apartment, so he decided to climb up to his balcony on the 4th floor and get inside that way. And when he was up, he fell down, and died.

It's true that both persons already had a history of psychosis prior to their self-induced sleep-deprivation. But I don't think we should take any risks.

@ Forkbender: I prefer a name with the word dream in it.

wow CM, thats realy messed up, in a messed up way....

but i like both names

WoW, that pretty nuts. I looked up some info about it. I remember a friend of my who used regularly speed. One he got lots of this shit drugs, and stayed a wake for a pretty long time, i don't remember for how long. But he also got a psychosis, but they called it a speed psychosis. But now i have doubts, maybe it's just because the speed kept him to long awake. Anyway, i would never be able to stay awake for such a long time... I have heard that staying to long awake could cause hallucinations, but i never thought that it could become that crazy.

Maybe then I'll get really angry and ban you?
