Ok, take newton's law of gravity, then take einsteins special and general relativity. Now if you don't understand what happened there, you will not understand what I am talking about. A revolution in the quantum world would make a HUGE impact on humanity. Bet your ass. We may be on the brink of it too, I am positive it will happen sometime in my lifetime to say the least.
