Hm...

:unibrow:

Datura, wildest visuals... complete change of scenery and animated scenery that can really harm you (the exact thing harming you might not be your hallucination) this is not something to mess around with ! The feeling is also not very pleasant, dry mouth, heavyness, nausea...

I don't really recommend it after all, it can really trick you and its WILD, literally.

The heavyness, blindness and sedation is more a result of the scopolamine, while the ingestion of atropine and hyoscyamine answers with an intense increase of the heartrate but it's relatively not hallucinogenic. Those 2 make the blood boil, and make the heart run resulting into a wild delirium rather than a calmer visionary delirium with drowsiness through scopolamine individually.

Pharamaceutical scopolamine is much more safer, accurate dose, and only 1 active anticholinergic alkaloid instead of 3 together.

The top of the hands are becoming the most sensitive nerve responders, as James Ketchum once said about his peak experience with BZ, micro people playing an entire football match at the top of his finger.

It is interesting to have experiences that mostly include powerful visual realities or great confusion with hardly any intellectual ground. But it's not something that contributes to profound sanity through balanced philosophy. That's why I do not consider Salvia as an entheogen in the proper sense, although if you're building it up very gradually, you can become great fuck buddies. :P

On +/- 60grams of fresh shrooms(one portion hawaiian and one portion equadorian) I was walking outside smoking a jay and I saw a really freaky long-legged spider that was made of my own hair... So I thought: wow trippy! and bend over to examine it closely, and then it suddenly very violently jumped up at my face.

That freaked me out big time... :P

LSD, double dipped purple Ohms back in the day, 4 made me see peoples faces as digital signals of light,

can only describe it like if you have a colour imbalance on paint or paint shop pro where there each level of the same colour goes from dark to light in deep bands.

and the after trails, trying to touch someone where you thought they were but you were actual touching where they had been.

On Datura I had a fully formed snake jump straight at me (it was hidden inside the stash box mind you, coiled and ready to strike) I even had time to seize it by the throat and feel its slimyness for a few seconds before it vanished.

Fully formed people have also came to chat with me, old friend and people I had not seen into a while being very philosophic. Also I hallucinated my little cat jumping on me on the couch and walking on my chest, I could feel his paws and the vibration of its purring, I could also pat it for a few seconds then it vanished.

Other more crazy stuff too... like a guy opening a door in a cedar bush like it was an oven door and sticking his head out to say HI very happily to me... stuff you can't really imagine.

three-eyed alien head under the television telling me by facial expressions and telepathy that it would be OK, trying to calm me down (though i was).

and then i turned to see the flashes that irritated the corner of my eye, and realized they were stars moving really fast outside the ...brick SPACESHIP (?!) i was in. with a brick control panel (and a alien head laying on the floor below).

that was with salvia (and lots of cannabis before)

I was wondering Ahua, do you feel your physical presence all the time during such datura hallucinations? Is the awareness of the desert throat constantly present? Do you feel your heart beating all the time? Can you tell us a bit more about the elaborated character of datura hallucinations? How did it affect your life?

What movie, picture, photo, story or other creative mindwork typically corresponds with it?

Its hard to explain Datura... really is since it connects you to world that are normally unseen.

In some worlds you feel lighter, in others very heavy, but always very heavy in the physical plane. This gives me a strong root for this kind of voyage in the mind, since I do not really enjoy just going around for fun, the responsibility to psychonautism I have been talking about... The desert throat and the heavy limbs leave when you are able to accept that you have less control upon what you are going to see. If you resist you will be pushed and pulled towards violent hallucinations which can even feel painful, and your will "burn and dry up" you will want to throw up. But if on the contrary you pay attention, and you are minded to accept that the characters in your lucid dream ought to be free, even if what they tell you is not pleasant... then you will enter that watery space where everything seems covered in jello. This is also common with the high dose amanita, they bring you to the same place, exept that for Datura, the plant consciousness is there like a cat thats really itching for a hunt. If you manage to tame and calm her then she will be gentle, but merely juggling with ego dynamics might get her too much gentle, so much that you might feel intimidated by the good feelings she can give you. If you then manage to integrate the first dimentional jumps, and your heart is strong enough to sustain the high heart beat, you will begin to talk to yourself and exit the body so to speak. You might wake up say in your best friends backyard in front of a fire and you light up a joint and the spark from the lighter will wake you up and you realise you havent moved, but 1 second later, you jump back into another space where you have deep philosophical insight thanks for very real discussions with the hallucinations present... or you might fly and see distant spaces !

Thing is it will always be wild, so if you have no good reason to seek its metaphysical influence, you will get whipped and or wipe... it takes extreemly strong willpower and vigilance to handle this kind of trip, or you just fall in deep splumber with some lucid dreaming, which is less interesting for what this plant has to offer. Because it teaches you that at any one moment there is a multitude of archetypes and angels which are influencing your every decision in life, which means you need to have part of your subconscious listening in to those possible presents, so you might learn from them and grow from such insight.

You cannot really associate it with anything as such, because it's very spiritual... maybe a little less than salvia but more stable, it will always seem profound and intelligen, so much that you might not even remember you were on such a substance in the first place. It just gives you the most you can take, while looking very mysterious... You cannot be creative on that because most of the time you are simply paralised in bed, fighting to stay awake, its simply impossible to do anything since your body is on auto-pilot.

One of the freakiest visuals (or non-visuals) I ever had - and I still can't really explain it physically, was on a very high dose of shrooms (10g dried cubensis).

I was sitting in a moon-lit room that I could clearly see, but when I looked down at myself I couldn't see me. I held my arm up, 20cm away from my face and right in the moonlight, but I couldn't see it, it was like my body was invisible.
That experience really fails any explanation - and at the moment I was having it I was so tripped out I had already had the notion that I was dead and floating in a dark purgatory, alone forever. The cannot-see-myself thing really added up to that experience. It was sooooo frightening, I really found a new joy in life after coming out of it in one piece

Realistic visions of hell, or a dungeon, after a combination of Datura and a high dose of LSD.

Were these the blotters you took? As soon as I saw them by chance on erowid's front page I associated them with you.

Yes, that's what they looked like!

At Ahua, thanks bro. Just another question for my educative mind... you talked about microcosmology earlier....

Both at the beginning of these videos from different persons they use their hands explicit for it seems something really small to pick up. So did James Ketchum, deliriant researcher for the military, reported about his experiences. Do they literally feel a real object? And do they see the unexisting object as an entire living world, or is it just the unexisting object itself with a world around it?

Why do these guys give no response to reality? Do they hear some sound as whatever else or are they being deaf? Are there fluctuating moments during a datura trip in where the normal world is seen with at least a distorted connection?
