I miss the first few smokes. Like everyone else. This question has been asked 1000 times. But this is much less a question and much more.. I don't know. But I miss the days where I could watch a video like this [youtube]
and bawl my eyes out. I miss how I could lay in my bed and have endless epiphanies, weed epiphanies.

Now only psychedelics do the trick. Its depressing. I'm sure if I quit for a month it would happen. But who really has the patients unless they HAVE to do it?

Just quit. It is that easy.

Try to value sobriety. It is a very interesting state of consciousness.

No one "has" to do it, at least not for the reason you mentioned. The law or social pressure might force you to stop, but you are the only one capable of enhancing your use of weed by simply smoking it less often. It may never be as powerful as the first times, but hey, old couples often struggle to keep the flame alive  . But be sure that if you treat her and yourself with the respect that you both deserve, she'll always be a great companion. And yes, as Light said, don't forget that sobriety is a very interesting state of consciousness in itself, and must remain the one you experience the most :) .

On this subject like many others, our friend Terence is very eloquent :
