...in an endless list of questions and doubts.

But as I said, do we ever catch the draggon?
Well do you people want the list to end? Personally, i don't care if we ever catch the dragon.
Actually I do, and I care. If I didn't want it or care about it, it would be pointless to try to understand the depths of, my, mind and the infinite that surrounds me.
Maru a dit:
I guess that beeing a psychonaut has nothing to do with understanding the mechanism of the monkey (the mind)
Well I think it has something, if not in the most part, to do with understanding the mind and his mistery.
I think a psychonaut it's a person who enjoys exploring his own mind and the reality that his shown to her (even if that person doesn't come out with an statement to explain, to others, what ever was felt on one of those moments of exploration of Life or Mind or.. you name it)
Anyway, I think it's pointless to say what is or isn't, considered, a psychonaut. Or else we will start to see a list of rules and conditions to be considered one.
Maru a dit:
Eventually understanding how the mind work can be usefull for a purpose or another but is'nt it pointless when it comes to 'just' live your life?
I think that everybody 'just' live their lifes, or else they would be death.
I mean, if you just want to eat, work and sleep, well thats a choice, and your living your life in your own way doing nothing interesting and challenging.
But, living a life and at the same time trying to understand the meaning of it, I think it's much more lovingly beautiful and challenging for the mind.
Meduzz a dit:
why shouldn't you think about things that seem pointless?
If they are pointless, to you, why should you give it a second thought?
Meduzz a dit:
i've also been thinking that when we have mapped out the entire soul, what technologies will come hand in hand with those discoveries? it could all go fucked up. science-fiction mind reading, mind control,...
Seems like you DO care about catching that draggon!
