Slipknot bullshit or not, it's an act with lots of people playing different instruments.
It's too much "wreck the shit out of everything" though

Crap or not, Joey (the drummer) is one of the best drummers alive.
It's good he's doing other projects besides Slipknot...

i hate it...really i do...if there is one kind of music i cant stand its metal...

I guess i would like a few songs, but overall, really, really not my kind of music.

Entheonaut if you ask me its all kiddy pop . But i do like Old motorhead ,.......lemmys been a speed freak for aeons and he`s even older than me !!! , he used to be in Hawkwind one of the best LSD bands there ever was !!! Personaly "I am the master of the universe...

Bong ra ? is that Ash Ra Temples grand kids , and the only kind of grind i like is one with a woman !!!

With Metal i understand the next:

the Real, the Good, the OLDSCHOOL HEAVY FUCKING MUSIC that was made in the sixties, seventies, eighties qnd some in the nineties or however you spell this last.
Pioneers off all sorts and their true followers.
Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Death, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Death Angel, Pantera, Guns N Roses, fucklaod more.

NO poser shit music that goes around these days.
Fuck that man, i don't even call that music in any fucking way.

Ps.: sorry for the ranting but I'm stoned as hell/.//

Hahahaha, lol...

I don't have a problem with your ranting ;)

I have my own opinion about music.
The thing thats the greatest thing for the one, can be total hell or mindnumbing shit to the other (not talking about Metal here but in general)

It's fine as long as everybody listens what she/he likes :D

Poser shit , exactly . Whats the guy in the middle of the first picture got in his pocket trying to make people think he has a big dick ??? If anyone can tell me a where i can hear a good track by any of the groups mentioned with a GOOD guitar solo on it i might change my mind . Shitny spears is better than most of them . I`m waiting for the Led Zep concert in november , they might be grandpas but they dont have to make a loud and fast shity NOISE because they cant realy play like the others .

Listen to a bit of hendrix and hear a real guitar solo .

This you gotta see when you're stoned.
Have fun.

Edit: fuck them posers, fuck em all!
Oldschool thrash metal for life!

another

Change your mind GOD!

GOD, this last one is specially for you ;)
SO change your damn mind :D

Fuck it, I'm change my real name into Thrash!

GOD? where are you???
I wanna say you change your mind.
I wanna hear you say: THRASH METAL FOR FUCKING LIFE, BITCH :D

JFK give me a chance . And stop flooding me with youtube please , it takes forever to load . I will look at it but not now O.K. I`ve just eaten my dinner and i dont want to puke it up thanks .

Lion: There's an edit function, you can use it to add more stuff to your message, so you don't have to flood the whole topic with multiple messages right behind each other ;)

Thanks

 &

The first one is monotonous and even i could play that , in the solo at the end hes just playing a simple scale up and down , the singers doing a led zep ripoff . I can sing led zep better .

In the 2nd one the solo is bit better but a bit short , johny winter played solo lead for the whole show = 2 or 3 hours and rick deringer played just as fast but not so simple , mechanical and he played with soul .

The 3rd one was boring and the guy cant play guitar he just played fast , so fast that you can hardly hear all the mistakes !!!! But again it was mostly scales

The 4th one was the best one but of the 3 , 5 second guitar solos only one was good but just as i thought he was about to play something good he stoped , and the other 2 were sterile .

The 4th one was the best folowed by the 2nd , then the 3rd , then the 1st . The only thing that they had going for them was that they were LOUD . Personaly i prefer quality rather than loudness and speed . But thanks anyway .

Wtf happened here?
My head hurts...

I tend to agree with this, EXCEPT for Motörhead (yeah, I'm totally loving those guys) who somehow managed to make their 2 last albums totally amazing ! And Lemmy's nearly seventy !

One special song for you GOD (from their last album) ; )

EDIT : And one for everyone from their 2004 album ! Feel the Rock'n'Roll mofos !

EDIT 2 : (Yeah, sorry) And one last (*very* different) song, from the same album :

You can not compare this to Johnny Winter...
This is THRASH Metal. They make from something so simple, something so damn good. Johnny Winter makes something good out off something so darn fucking difficult.

But yeah, i know it's hard to agree with me when you've allready seen it all. All the masterminds, all the stuff that's been getting used over and over again.

My girlfriend (who listened only metal) once told me: Metal bands are for people who can't play that well

In context, it's a lot easier to play metal when you just started to play electric guitar then whole Hendrix pieces ;)

No offence, but the Death Angel stuff sounds really simple.
I can't really relate to it, because it has to little action for me in the music.

But I bet when you hear my favorite music, you can't relate to it either

Haha, make her listen to Catch 33 from Meshuggah (and it's not only extremely technical, it also sounds GREAT ! Try In Death - Is Death ! )
