^ I looked around and gland is a very general term, I refer to the two-I think immunological-bubbles right between your last teeth-farthest back- and your throat. They sometimes become swollen when you have the flue or something similar, however, they can get infected. I don't know how I got it, but it's been three weeks, two antibiotic cycles and nothing happens...

Specifically I think is the sublingual glands or the submandibular glands.

amigdalitis! my sister went through the same a few years ago. She had them removed and then ate nothing but soup, ice creams, jellos and juices for a week. Would you miss them?

I don't know If I'll have them removed, initially I'm against it since those bubbles do seem to work out some immunological function. I'm asthmatic and a male so the consequences of doing so are different...

But I guess I wouldn't know If I miss them until I have them removed.

the word gland is too similar to the word glans.

the lymphatic system can be a nightmare. Echinacea and excersise are the best medicine. excersise pumps the lymph around
