So I'm thinking sometime in the next couple weeks if the weather is good of heading as far away from people as I can (considering where I live) and taking my last little bit of dose in the forest, alone. Preferably a couple hours before sunrise. It would definitely involve a bit of hiking or biking to get far away from any chance of running into fellow humans...

I've taken acid (and mushies) by myself a few times, enough that I think I can handle myself, also I'm not planning a heroic dose. Really, just meditation in a natural setting, uninterrupted, would be extremely refreshing I think. Would bring a bit of warm clothes, a bit of food, and liquids.

Just posting this here in case anybody has any thoughts on the matter, things I should think about in preparation, if it is better to drop late at night instead of early morning, etc (as previously mentioned this is quite reliant on the somewhat crappy weather we have been having where I live..)

try to be peaking when the sun is setting ;)

Which province are you from Bot?

Well, at least you have the most beautiful places to go in Canada and liberal laws to take stuff with you.

I'd love to go to Norway or Greenland to trip there. But taking acid with me kinda scares me.

Brugmansia a dit:

there is not reason to be scared. if you have it on your body (blotters) everything is ok. they won't notice. lsd is predestined to be smuggled if you ask me.

I'm feeling a bit too internet paranoid (cautious?) to specify exactly where I am right now, but I'm pretty much in a major city with a lot of population around, so I'm not so worried about bears (although I'm sure the odd one wanders about) :D

The nice thing about some major Canadian cities is that there are large, massive parks with areas that pretty much nobody ventures into. I might think about one of these areas, if I can't get out of the city altogether. If by sheer random chance one or two people wander by while I'm tripping out at 9:30am it probably wouldn't be such a big deal..

Even considering the liberal laws, I still don't think they would be too friendly if they caught you with tabs, the laws are really only liberal when it comes to weed (and our current gov't is trying to tighten up on that these days too). But yeah, that is kind of the nice thing about transporting blotter. Small pieces of odorless paper are like finding a needle in a haystack, plus they aren't all that common these days either.

True, pure synthesized LSD is oderless and tasteless therefore no dogs will be able to sniff it out.

But LSD can only survive in a solvent if I'm correct, liquid has a really strong and lime like smell. And blotters are usually dripped with it. So perhaps the added solvent might betray the presence of acid.

I'm just being a paranoid when it comes to transport of illegal substances. I don't even dare to take a few grams hash with me to France or Spain while there's never a car check.

Yeah, r.e. hash it's just not worth the risk. I heard a horror story once (maybe it was here??) about someone venturing into France and being TESTED and just that being grounds for turning the person back. Don't know if it is true.

Anyway, the forecast looks great this weekend.. perhaps late friday nite, early saturday morning :D

well, go for it! I really like tripping in the forest it makes me feel like i'm one whit nature(ok in holland its kinda hard to find true and wild nature) and you even got mountains(there arn't any in holland lol) on one of my last outdoor trip is saw a couple of dears(like bambi size and this was before taking anything  ) I love seeing these things I don't know why, but it makes of feel really happy. Enjoy youre trip! :D

I was tripping in Holland once, in a natural surrounding, and out of nowhere a bunch of fire trucks came by, and there wasn't really a road that is firetruck suitable. I was with a friend and he saw them too btw.

So watch out for those firetrucks!

I hoped people would recall that specific clip of family guy, it makes the whole thing thrice as funny

Oh god, that's one of these WTF- moments.

damn, that was the first thing that went through my head too. except at first i couldn't remember where I had seen that skit.. kept wondering if it was monty python... :D

Do you know this strange feeling of déjà-vu?

"Do you know this strange feeling of déjà-vu?"

No . But i have the strange feeling i`ve had it before .

I think you'll be fine if you're in an area you're familiar with or in a park surrounded by city or something.

If you're going to a very remote location it might be wise to tell somebody where you're going or leave a note or something. Even if they don't know what you're doing let somebody know the general area you are going to. I live in Vancouver and there's plenty of wilderness within a few hours drive that I could get seriously lost in.

If you're within range consider take a cell phone.
