hay ghostlyone. i was talking outside outside. the cuntstabulary have a habit of checking greenhouses/polytunnels out of the blue here though i know people who get away with it. NL/ haze gives me couchlock but i like it. a friend grows nothing but haze family ans supersilver gets me high high. i tend to go for ppp because of the yield and lack of tolerance after a few weeks but always try something new at the same time. the only prob is its no use for cuttings because it hermaphrodises, i suspect cos its got some Thai though its mainly Afghani(it stinks). i think haze is best suited to outside and would grow fine til the end of august but this far north thats the summer gone and the rain kicks in. its heartbreaking to watch your newly forming buds turn grey and slimy. as for guns, well theyre everywhere but your not alowed to have one so the extra prison time means you let the deer eat(the place has 2x the number it can naturaly suport and theyre all hungry). so its indoors or nothing here unfortunately :? i noticed your NYCD. i did some of that recently, it looked just like yours. ive still got a pack of seeds sitting about

grape skunk- new to me. doesnt mater if it hermies towards the end. PPP would do it in week2 if it got stressed. most of my friends wont smoke it. my girlfriend wont touch it. wasnt so inpressed w NYCD, seeds were a present. NL is a good one. i was getting cuttings from a plant that finished after 7 weeks reaching full potential, but after a while it lost all potency and had to be abandoned. im too impatient for haze< and cant afford to run 1000w HPS that long(the electricity company notice too). im planning a move to the country proper so who knows. my prefered strain is pure power plant. if i trigger them at 18 inches ill get 3.5 oz dried weight and its strong, not so strong in figures(14%) but the hit is trippy and you dont get used to it. ive had withdrawals when it ran out. and no hydro, everything organic

clones wear out eventually, but it takes at least 15 devisions. you can put a paper bag over 1 branch and trigger it to sex your young plants but messing theyre daylight hours around can make them herm. i suppose it may depend on the strain. anything with thai seems prone.NL sems very robust. i try not to mess them about if at all possible just in case. ive heared al sorts of methods but once you know your strain you can tell pretty much which ones are going to be male. they tend to have bigger spaces between nodes, gain hight quicker and the leaves look subtly different. although with seed every one is unique, which is why i prefer seed. every once in a while you get something special. ive found feminised seeds more likely to produce herms so not realy worth the extra cash. i believe over cloning drops the yield even if the potency stays the same. have you tried armageddon skunk for yield? its not very stable, or that strong but its a producer

the bag one works. has to be dark and pref paper but it doesnt seem to upset them too much. the male leaves can be narrower than female but thats not a rule. humidity seems to make a big difference to the leaf shape even within one strain. if its high humidity the leaf may be wider and more glaucus, low humidity narrower and more papery. again you have to know your strainto notice these changes cos theyre subtle

No , but its much more NL than haze . Haze is about the longest growing plant there is before it flowers . Haze is very long and thin . And there are not just one original haze plant , there are still several . Most of the original haze types have been lost though . The NL was added to make the plant smaller , more compact , produce more buds , flower earlyer and to stop you breeding . Real haze grown indoors is a 12 week plant and its not possible to grow it outdoors in northern Europe because it takes till winter to flower = it dies first . It was a mixture of mexican and columbian parents . There were also at least 5 different strains of pure northern lights .
Problems with the electric company are one of a growers biggest problems so if you are a desperate kamikazi you use a "go backer" or if your clever a gas generator wich also produces CO2 wich is good for your plants .
I`ve seen mother plants that were more than 20 years old and had stemms as thick as your arm with bark on them just like a tree has . Breeding is the best way to go as clones degenerate , look at Holland for the proof .
I used to have three sorts of out door plants called jehova grass because it was grown by...... A JEHOVAS WITNESS !!!! The one was harvested and dry before the first of september , another by the middle of september and the special one = 4- 5 meters tall by the end of september . Guess who took my seeds off me ?

= bad plants , badly bred wich should be thrown away . If you dont you end up with something that is similar to ruderalis = it self polinates earlyer each year . Hermafradites breed hermafradites and should be avoided at all costs or you are going to fuck your grow attempts up . You need pure strains to breed . Thats the reason the Dutch sell hybrids because its a waste of time breeding them and after the fist generation they become unstable . As you said Drugless you only have to look at them to know what sex they are .

No . Its the genetics and bad breeding = its got hermafradite in it somewhere . Like you say maybe thai . Avoid "thai" like the pest . The thais never had a grass growing culture . The legends about thai being good came from all the farmers boys from idaho who had never smoked anything in their lives before that got sent from vietnam on leave to thai brothels . Thailand is run by the mafia = the military , like Burma . There are generaly two sorts of comercial grass available . A brown one and a better green one . If thai people want good looking and good smelling grass the go to Cambodia . If they want nice grass they go to Burma and if they want realy good grass they go to Laos where the things that were called thai sticks came from . Thai sticks arent wound around sticks like the ones you get in Holland , or buds tied together with hemp fibers . They are the top buds , the ones that look like bullrushes with the bud leaves removed .
AS you say Drugless its very easy to identify the sex of plants just by looking at them when you have experience . If you get a magnifying glass and look at their armpits you can tell even earlyer as they grow what are called "Pre- flowers" there .
Feminised seed are the product of greedy scum and should be avoided like the pest . Breeding pure strains and doing your own crossing is the high road to sucess .

I`ve not got the same experience . We grew from clones for ???? years and the yield went up fron 2 - 300 hundred gramms a square meter to 600 gramms a square meter ..... but the power went down the drain .

Well I tried to go without coffee for the first 30 minutes of my morning. Somehow I am drinking a coffee right now, when I said no! I feel as if something is missing if I don't have coffee, and cannot seem to wake up--a sure addiction.

I try not to drink that much coffee because every time I drink a few large cups over the day then I can't sleep well, although I get drowsy pretty soon after I return from work.
I feel much better if I drink green or black tea instead of coffee.
Lately I didn't get any caffeine til around 2 p.m. and I got a lousy headache. I got a can of instant coffee from the gas station and felt better right after drinking it. I heard the can call "addiction!" right into my face...
I started my caffeine addiction early (at 12 or so) because I always felt less energetic than everybody else. It wasn't about physical strength, it was all about the "you need to get things done quickly" feeling that all the others seemed to have so much more than I.
Today I see clearly that my parents were a bad example because they are freaking caffeine addicts. Every time I have breakfast with them and I drink as much coffee as they do (from the strong coffee they make) I'm getting almost sick and I can literally watch them "get on speed" as they proceed with their day.
I feel much better if I drink green or black tea instead of coffee.
