I'm not high, so I wanted to say something referring to the original post - you know the brain stuff, remember? ;)

I have seen a documentary on savants recently. These are people with more or less autism/asperger syndrome, who have on the other hand one or more "superhuman" talents.
There's this one guy who was the inspiration for the film "Rain Man" - he can't live on his own and he needs help with dressing and walking - but he can read 10 times faster than anybody else and still remember exactly word by word what he has been reading. He doesn't lose that knowledge with the effect that he can exactly remember whole encyclopedias. He's like a human wikipedia.

Then there was this other guy who can see numbers in a way that he can solve massive calculations through pictures and landscapes. He says every number looks like a beatuiful image to him and he can combine these images for example to multiply the numbers - and then he just reads the result from the new picture in his mind.
Fascinating stuff - and the interesting thing about him was that he only had a very weak form of asperger syndrome, so he was actually a pretty normal guy. Quiet and thoughtful, but not handicapped.

I think i saw that one to . There was also a guy who could take one look at a city and draw it perfectly , every architectural detail .

*nod* very good docu

I saw it too.

So... schizophrenia is a mutation of the mind? Hmmm....

I am well on my way towards there. My goal in life is just to achieve as much knowledge as possible, then intergrate psychedelics with that. See how far down the rabbit hole I can go...!! :D

yes and the so called "savants" have mutated for their own good, yet some of them have problems in other areas than their "skill field"....

schizophrenia is quite natural as a disease of the mind... it happens naturally that you become schizo... but it can be prevented by training the mind and/or listening to it / being aware of it.

i think nowadays there are more schizos than you might think and also some schizos are really schizo in spite of them pretending that they aren't ...

A. what? i didnt say anything

^lol

hey has anyone seen this video in youtube were a woman who had a condition similar to autism (I don't remember exactly) showed her house a bit and wrote everything in a voice software? she liked to see the water running from the faucet, making sounds and doing this silly but interesting little things. It reminded me of the silly things we do when tripping. The stuff she wrote was very eloquent and you couldn't tell she was like she is just from reading her.

Tit for Tat.

Your life and your own humanity, your culture, is a selection of some spheres in detriment of others.

A path is chosen. A crooked one it must be I might add.

DDance like no one's watching
