good points everybody!! i guess when i opened this topic i was thinking a bit along the lines of how you guys think.
maybe that it can be good to be able to judge.. but when it becomes compulsive then a more advanced conclusion should be drawn. if you make a compulsive judgement, it means you couldn't stop yourself from making a judgement. to me this means even that could be positive in some situations... for example that it can be good in some cases but definately not in all cases to have prejudices, judgements that you have made beforehand... but in general tendency or so i would say it's better if at least you are "able to stop yourself" making judgements. because mental imprisonment can be about probably the worst kind of prisons... invisible prisons... and just think about the idea of not being able to stop to constantly judge. maybe it means we are afraid of not judging... of letting be things simply as they are. or maybe if we judge things they can still be as they are.
for example sometimes things can be good and bad at the same time also... and if you in such a case constantly have to think "is this good or bad?".. then maybe you already have "lost"... know what i mean??
maybe the question could be what would it mean when it's all good and all bad at the same time?... maybe like new levels of good and bad lol...
and one last thing about the notion of compulsive judgement: have you considered the idea/concept or so of programs related?? that you possibly were indoctrinated with a program that is out of at least your total or full control until you become fully aware of it or so? i just think words and numbers can play very strange roles...
like how we maybe tell our own story for ourselves but also others.... know what i mean??
the problem is when others want to tell your story too much... because people are not always nice or as nice as they seem or claim to be... right? :| :?
peace
