So you don't even have to mist at all? And the heater should be underwater still on a layer of rocks as to not to touch the plastic sides. Just wanted to double check as fires are generally not a good thing in homes This is all great info man thanks. Thinking of heading to WalMart today to scout for supplies.

Nope, no misting required. The only reason I take the top off is to make sure the water level is okay since my terrarium isn't a claer one. And the only thing you may want that I couldn't find at walmart is a humidity guage. I got mine from petsmart ( $30 i think ). It's not really necessary b/c with the bubble tubes/ stones setup it should keep it atleast 90% humidity.

Well I just got back from walmart. I gotta say I didn't think it through. I pretty much bought everything there.....which once I got to the checkout line looked quite odd lol. Like a underground labortory lol but it was like $60-70 not bad got a few more things to get while I wait for my order.

You remember where you found the instructions to build yours? I can't seem to find it again.
