Storing a San Pedro

I've just received my San Pedro cactus.
I won't be taking it for a least 2 weeks, so I'll have to store it for some time.
What is the best way to store it?

Is it fresh or dry? I am pretty sure you can store either anywhere. I ordered dried San Pedro before and just kept it in my drawer. I have also ordered fresh San Pedro cacti, and just kept them in the box in my closet for 2 months and they were fine.

mescaline has been know to survive 2000 years buried with some deaxd guy. You could probably store it inside youre bowl
