science subforum?

i was lik thinking and maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to make a science subforum next to "Art & Philosophy" that is not directly related to drugs but about recent developements and discoveries,...

do you know that there is a star in the sky that is actually not a star but the international space station?
i always wanted to confirm this with someone...
i noticed a few years ago (around 2000 i think) that there was suddenly a much brighter new star in the sky, and i was puzzled by my discovery, and then someone told me (but i can't remember who) that it was the new space station.

the international space station (ISS). First part launched: the Zarya module on November 20, 1998. The station isn't completed yet. And I don't know where to look to see it.
