ok ,first of i have no experience with mescaline or aya, and im looking for something to trip mainly for spiritua-teaching purposes, on a peacefull place with nature around.so, which is more ''gentle'' san pedro cactis or ayahuasca?
a post i replied previously made me think the salvia tincture choice.. but smoking the extract makes me nervous.. i have the same thing with mj, i cant smoke it but i can eat it or drink it, anything involves smoking makes me nervous

Personaly i think Ayahuasca , i feel like i`m coming home when i take it . Probably because DMT is a natural body chemical .

i lean to ayahuasca to, but for pure dmt i dont think im ready

Yep smoking DMT could not be called gentle , and as most people here who have smoked it say "no one is ever ready for it".

I have had a low-dosed mescaline trip once with San Pedro (it was about 15-20cm from a two year old cactus about 40cm tall, grown from a cutting).

I didn't think much would come out of it because of the low dose, so I had some glasses of red wine with it. But man, it was a very very enjoyable night of creative, optimistic tripping. Almost like a small dose of mdma, but much more spiritual on the other hand. I hardly ever felt so clear-headed and at the same time so spiritual.
I think mescaline can really make you fly in higher doses, but from what I felt from the low dose, it seemed to be the nicest psychedelic I have tried so far. It was for sure much nicer than shrooms or syrian rue with mimosa hostilis. LSD might be more comparable, but I haven't done that for years so I really can't say.
I believe it surely has the potential to take you somewhere else with full force (just like in fear and loathing where gonzo goes monkey in the casino). The amount I took was really low and I was astonishingly deep in the spirit world for that kind of a weak trip.

I have done San Pedro a couple of times. I must say the mescaline trip is very gentle, feels warm, nice and calm. But the nausea I get in the beginning is quite a pain in the ass. The trip is very spiritual, so it really is worth the effort.

I've never done ayahuasca but I have smoked N,N-DMT with successful breakthroughs. I love it, it's the best psychedelic I've ever tried if I had to chose. But I'm not sure in wich extent I can compare pure DMT with ayahuasca(wich also contains diffirent alkaloids I think).

If I had to say San Pedro or Ayahuasca, instinctively I'd say San Pedro... I just think that Mescaline has a more gentle (phenethylamine-like-)character than DMT (typical tryptamine feeling like psilo for instance).
San Pedro feels alot like 2-cb but it's a deeper and more mystical trip imo.
If you ask me about Salvia? I find it the most incomprehensible psychedelic I know, and it has the least gentle character of all psychoactives I've tried.

Whatever you choose,

Happy a nice trip!

I tend to agree with Entheonaut. My experiences with mescaline (and phenethylamines in general) have all been gentle. Strong, but rarely forceful. Mescaline in particular is... profound? I found that it was very conducive to spiritual exploration, bringing me to most fantastic places but not being forceful about it. Tryptamines bring me to the same places, but they can drag me kicking and screaming sometimes. It's convenient that mescaline lasts so much longer, as it allows you to explore these realms on your own time.

thnx for the opinions and infos, from the research i done and the things you said it seems that cacti is the most suitable for my psyche this period, but it aint gonna be san pedro but Trichocereus Bridgesii (Achuma)?? some say it is more potent?
omg i was googling around and after lots of diggin it turned out that the giant cactus on my neighborhood(its dead now  ) was a large Echinopsis pachanoi specimen

san pedros have the best endurance on smaller temperatures, even so poor one died slowly the last winters, but i cant forget those divine huge white flowers!! i was 15 yrs old or somethin when it bloomed* last time, ill go check if its any roots still alive for rescuing..
san pedro dont you die on me!!! die IN me
Did you knew that san pedros-saint peters ''keys'' for paradise was those cactis? if i say that to a greek hump-back moorning orthodox lady with moustache prolly gonna hunt me down...lol

do you think mescaline cactus will synergise good with lotus extract?

GOD a dit:

Still smoking DMT feels like coming home ever more than mushrooms or ayahuasca. It seems that the more intense the visions get, the more intense the feeling good at home becomes. At least, that's my impressions and almost everybody who I introduced to it.

I'm still not ready for it, yet I've done it about ten times ;)
