when collecting shrooms in scotland was still legal i noticed something interesting in my area. while picking p.sem i found a population of VERY strong shrooms. these beauties were very blue even unpicked indicating high psylacin concentrations in undamaged mushrooms. all the literature ive read states only psylocybin should be present in our local species. these lovellys seem to be asociated with cows, and grow on lime rich soil(the bedrock is a lime rich sandstone which is very unusual in this part of the country). do these shrooms represent an anomally or a sub species? also the nipple seems much less pointed and far more rounded. i dont have a powerfull enough microscope to look at the spores.curiouser and curiouser
