Psilocybin extraction, everclear, tips, etc etc etc.

The time has come for me to attempt a real psilocybin extraction. I want to use the easy and proven method, using high percentage of alcohol to extract.

Some questions:

- Does anyone know where to get 95% everclear in Holland
- Does anyone know if its possible to buy 95% alcohol in Holland and if so, where?
- Anyone ever tried this extraction method?
- Anyone know where to get labsupplies like a buchner funnel?

I'm going to use about three ounces of dried cubensis, various strains where potency is not known (since to incorrect drying).

blackcurrentjuice allso extracts the psilocybin (i read somewhere.... and lemon juice aswell.... )

like an extraction from mycelium, you could just shake it with some blackcurrantjuice and the psilocybin will be in the juice

in de drogist kan je ook 96% alcohol kopen in kleine flesjes, maar niet drinkbaar, dus dan moet je de alcohool laten verdampen en heb je een beetje water met psilocybin erin, zoals bij de lsa extractie die nog moet gebeuren...

Ja daar had ik al aan zitten denken. Ben nog aan het researchen maar het schijnt dat wanneer je de alcohol verdampt, je amberkleurige kristallen overhoudt. Discussie is nog gaande of dit psilocybine danwel psilocine is. Dat het actief is, is zeker en daarnaast schijnt de normale bodyload volledig afwezig te zijn.

Methanol (100%) should also work well, this can be bought at camping supplies stores for about 4 euros/liter.

Lab-glassware is difficult to find in the netherlands, just keep your eyes open at flee markets and such. Sometimes you can find labglass on marktplaats.nl. A few years ago in Germany I found some very usefull pyrex beakers, at the hobby wine making department of a large supermarket.

Cool! Will look for methanol. Thats also not for human consumption right? So needs to be evaped.

Ideally, I'm looking for something like everclear so I can dose it while still fluid.

Anyway, lot of stuff to be learned here

I would STRONGLY advice you NOT to use methanol, as it doesn't fully evaporate and leaves toxics traces in your extract... Nasty stuff that could make you blind...

I think it's crazy that you can't buy 95% alcohol over there. Granted I can't get it here in Virginia, but it's legal in every state bordering VA. Stupid fucking commonwealth.

Probably possible to buy 95%, but I wouldn't know where to buy it either.

It's not one of my everyday goods, lol.
