GOD laughs . There are ups and downs . If one keeps on playing and thinks one has a permanent up one will loose BIG . Gambling is always a win or loose situation and good gamblers know when to quit .

I used to have all the ilusions that you have , so did many people i have met . They all lost in the long run .

Luck + control of your greed = Success in poker.

I once won 50$ for answer correctly a quiz. I rapidly got 130$. Eventually, I started to loose. I lost control of my capacity to control my bets, because I wanted to return to my 130$, or more. I ended up losing everything.

Though, I played a couple of times last year on free roll tournments from a poker software. I won some tournaments. They worthed 0.05$ for the first place :lol:

But, honestly, it's a brain death game. And can become addictive for weaker minds, as it was already said.

People have destroyed their lifes because of games witch involve money.

yeah of course it's true what you say...

yet i tend to a disagree a bit GOD, because playing poker in the internet minimizes the luck factor a bit, because you can play many tables at the same time and everything goes faster, etc... also by playing good you can minimize the luck factor.... however of course it is luck to a certain degree and i agree with what you say for gambling... but poker isn't only gambling... you can gamble but you don't have to... yes and there are ups and downs but they don't matter in the long run..
