Hello.

I've been taking piracetam daily in doese of 2.4-3.4g divided in 2-3 doses (usually

1.6+0.8+0.8) and lecithin (7-8g (27% PC)) once a day for about 3-4 weeks and the other day I

stopped. I got a withdraw with anxiety that nearly developed into a panic attack and I've

been having random spasms in my muscules for 2 days now.. Taking more piracetam (I'm now

back on 2.4g a day and I'll be lowering my dosage with 400mg every 2 days) did lower their

intensity, but it certainly didn't stop them. Has anyone had any similar problems with

piracetam ? Will these effects go away by themselves ? What should I do ?

BTW: My stomach also growls when I go to bed at night.

You should stop abuseing drugs and stop abuseing yourself . I have never heard that piracetam is adictive .

It's not addictive.. when i say "withdraw" i mean the effects following the abrupt termination ot long-term daily use.

Its called drug abuse and maybe the problems you had are because you dont respect yourself and your body enough .

Strangely enough there was a whole evening of documentry programs on 3Sat here and one of them said that people who take drugs for cognative enhancement are wasteing their time . Its robing peter to pay paul . Just eat properly and exercise and you will be clear in the head .

GOD a dit:
Just eat properly and exercise and you will be clear in the head .

Sound advice.

Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and don't forget to hydrate with fruit juice and/or water. Your body is probably just detoxing and removing all this stuff and to speed this up you need loads of vitamins and minerals and plenty of fluids. Moving around helps as well.

In another forum, some guy's have the same problem and the thoery goes that neurotransmitters have been firing like mad all week and eating up the essential supply of Choline in your system.

Maybe you can drop the dose of racetam, and taking more lechitine, but yes proper nourishement is the basis.
