id just like to say ive started using the Ubuntu (linux) operating system. it sucks big time. if anyone else is using it let me know what you think. and how to use it :angry:

it surfs the net ok. i just dont know how to do anything else. like install realplayer, google earth etc.

there's somethin similar to the "control panel" in windows, where you can change the settings for almost everything in the system and delete software too... i am not sure, but i think in ubuntu you can install software downloading from the internet and install it directly, by using the control-panel thing and then something that refers to adding software-packets...

its true, but only a limited amount of software. the rest you have to install using command lines.
or as i like to think of it- magick.
