Let's see... I began the journey into the demon world during last December while attempting to become a god. Just playing around, really, and encountered what I first thought was Satan. I concluded that demons were really just extraterrestrials and 'gods' of pagan civilizations, and he communicated that I was instrumental in bringing about change in 2012 (apparently when the proportion of enlightened to non-enlightened grows), though I do not know how. I thought that I would be excluded from having to destroy anybody because I myself was enlightened and would experience great pain if I were ever forced to do anything but love, but who knows, right?

Anyway, later my astral form was named a god of the mind, since then I have destroyed the astral form of at least one demon with the powers of the mind, again just playing around (what can I say, my astral nature is very immature, and my frank disbelief for the entirety of the plane allows me to bypass any ethical code). After this, I encountered one that felt very similar to the one I first felt, and I was instantly transported back to my physical body, paralyzed... the room was red as it was the first time. It perched on the foot of a friend's bed, who was asleep at the time, then left. I attempted to destroy it after it left, and felt success... my later thoughts were that I had brought a demon into the physical realm through destroying its astral form.

What's going on, dudes? Anyone else had similar experiences with different beings?

I've been drained since then, really. I can observe the universe (Brahman), and am more mindful that I have ever been, but there is a new barrier between my mood and my sensory input and stream of consciousness.

Also, I don't really believe any of this, myself. But yeah.

EDIT: A variety of substances and settings have been used, though these have only been possible while I'm alone. No deliriants, though.

A trip is a trip , its not reality . What does a cowboy do when he falls off his horse ?

So did this all happen during a trip or are you talking about out of body experiences NOT induced by psychedelics?

but there is a new barrier between my mood and my sensory input and stream of consciousness.
Care to explain, cos I don't know if I understand. It sounds very interesting.

Mostly with drugs, though I've had a couple experiences relating without drugs.

It sounds very interesting.[/quote:11geom79]At some point, as early as last summer, I could simply be mindful of sensory imput (everything from a breeze, to ground on my feet, to colors, shapes of nature) and be joyful of life. I did not have such mindfulness of my stream of consciousness, so I set out to become aware of that aspect of my perceived reality. I did so, and I've been very much so in touch with my thoughts and emotiuons (scary at times) and was blissful with that. However, recently, despite having the most heightened mindfulness I've had, I have a growing zen-like apathy towards everything. No desire for anything. Hardly any desire to continue life, even.

EDIT: I had managed to destroy the barriers between the outside world, its affects on my thoughts, and my emotions the summer before last.

Wow dude, that's some advanced stuff you got going on. If you wonder what's going on, I suggest you read books from people with such experiences as yours. Search for books on out of body experiences and the supernatural. Good luck!

Great experience, thanks a lot for posting.

One Question:
How did you defeat the demons?

I have a book here witch is called "Astral Dynamics - A New Aproach to Out-of-Body Experience" from Robert Bruce.

I haven't read it yet. But I'm planning to read it after I finish the one that's being read at the moment.

I'm reading stuff on it...

Also, last experience... I found the greatest demon ever bidding forgiveness for destroying the few demons that I had. He presented me with a portal of pure blackness and communicated that I must go through it to be forgiven. I chickened out and left the astral plane since. My mind freaks me out, sometimes.

I have been feeling a lot happier, though. So that's nice.

Well, in the astral plane, I find, your will is the most powerful of weapons. If you will something with your being, it has a very good chance of happening if it is unopposed by other sentient beings. You can never really destroy another being's awareness, but you can destroy their astral form if your will is stronger than theirs.

So, simply will something to be destroyed (I haven't tried creating anything yet, but I suspect it might work, also) and it will be destroyed.

These entities could be manifestations of your fears, desires, or perhaps a more dynamic personification of beings residing in otherwise conventionally lifeless forms.
In either sense, these are realities explained and interpreted within fantasies; it’s your perceptual interpretation of something inherent within yourself, this being of your ego, or of your intrinsic connection within the universe, which is in ultimate truth, yourself.

I can see this being a possibility, and have even read about it before... I just don't know, though.

same here Rhymmen... at the time this suits for me too... i take many things for possible, have heard, thought, or read about them, but i just don't know... 8)

peace.

Might it not be a better way to try to ask the demons what they want from you or what aspect of you they represent? Make them harmless by unveiling their motives. To me, destroying them sounds a bit like giving in to your fears, burrying them under another layer and making you therefore less aware, which would explain the barrier between consciousness and mood and you feeling drained. It would also explain the big demon asking you to face the unknown.

It could of course also be positive, you can be the only judge of that. But the impression I have is the above. What are your thoughts on this?

i agree with forkbender! i heard somewhere also that demons must show their true self or their purpose once they are asked. demons usually want to use people, so don't let yourself be used. i find what forkbender wrote quite good...

peace :P

Very intresting stuff you got here Rymmen,
may i ask on what kind of substances you've experienced these trips or where it astral/lucid experiences?

I got to agree with Buffachino, mostly the demons you encounter are parts of the self/bad habbits/fears whatever you call it.
I've read somewhere in shamanic books that the purpose of encountering demons is to show them the light, since they are a part of you that
represent yours fear and other badexpresions ect.
its your task to free them from that and overcome your own fears this can be in the normal world or the astral world since they are related to eachother. After you relieved them from the ignorance, darkness and fear they can become you're friends who can give usefull information.

I also highly suggest that you search for you poweranimal that will guide you in those realms.
Or check out the book "The way of the Shaman" by Michael Harner.

I'm reading stuff on it...
I figured, otherwise you wouldn't write or even experience the things you write about (astral forms, demons, satan...).

We all have that sometimes, especially by the end of winter.
