Hello all,

I'd like to ask if it is possible to get delayed menstruation from substances like MDMA or PCP.

Thanks.

"I'd like to ask if it is possible to get delayed menstruation from substances like MDMA or PCP."

The simple answer is yes . Any form of stress weather conscious or unconscious can have effects on the menstrual cycle . But i cant tell you if those two chemicals have a proven menstrual delaying , or other , side effect . Maybe the someone is pregnant ????? = They should go to a sensible doctor and ask . Doctors are not allowed to talk to anyone else about your problems and are not allowed to give evidence about your medical condition without your permission . If the person with the question cant trust their family doctor maybe they should go to a hospital out patients or emergency department and ask there . They are usualy well informed , often have drug experience themselves and dont give a shit about anything but helping patients .

Just wanted to add, that even if you do tell a doc something and they say something to someone else, it can't be used against you/get thrown out of court, because it would be violating the confidentiality law. So have no worries about seeing a doc about your health! And also let me just add in, if you in jail, they don't get your $$!

Does the Quran say women can or cannot pray during menstruation? Can i have actual quotes, not opinions without proof please. So far, I havn't actually come across a quote in the Quran that tells us that women cannot pray during menstruation (still looking), however this is what majority of Muslims follow, and is what i have ever been taught too.

kinda sounds like they are in the process

Believers, when you prepare for prayer, wash your faces, and your hands to the elbows; wipe your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. If you are in a state of ceremonial impurity, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill, or on a journey, or one of you has relieved himself, or have been in contact with women, and find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand, and rub your faces and hands with it. Allah does not wish to place you in a difficulty, but to make you clean, and to complete his favour to you, that you may be grateful." (Qur'an 5:6)

Notice the several conditions Allah specifies which believers should meet before performing salah. This would be a suitable place to mention the restriction for menstruating women if Allah wished so - that believing women should wait till they finish their menstruation, yet it is not found there nor anywhere else in the Qur'an.

Only some idiot man could try to convince someone otherwise

I suppose it's possible, as menstruation can be (unreliably) stopped by so many different things; e.g. body mass indexes, stress, fear. People have also mentioned the reverse is true, that being around lots of children (e.g. in a nursery school) seems to make women more ready.

Given that one of the main effects of stimulants is sexing it up like a bunny for 6 hours plus per go, I would strongly recommend a pregnancy test, even if that person is fairly sure of what happened when.

I have been so ridiculously blown away on stimulants at times that at one point I didn't even recognise that I'd actually come until half an hour or more later, when I found a particularly slippery area of skin. Using the "he didn't come in me" or "he had a condom on the whole time" thinking is not a good idea at all. If she has been anywhere near a penis in the last month, or anything with a penis, the test is only way to rule that out; and it is important to do so as soon as possible.

If they are not pregnant, the chances that MDMA or PCP alone have permanently stopped menstruation are essentially zero.

Doctors are, of coarse, under oath, as the others have pointed out. However, there is no need to even mention the drugs (maybe it'd be embarrassing) until she has ruled out being pregnant first. Simply go to the family planning clinic and ask for a pee wand.

If it comes back negative, and their period doesn't return the next month, the doctors would be a better idea.

This is one of the most scary, disgusting, putrid comments I have read on this website. Oh my, you surprise me again, America.

Are menstruations disgusting, putrid or scary ? You or I have misread this topic I think.
