Looking to purchase a whole kit

There are no dumb questions , asking questions is always good and we can all learn one way or the other .

Not being able to see the instructions you have it would be hard to give you tips .

Learning as much about sterile work as you can is your best bet .

Go through the steps you are going to do in your head first , untill you understand what you have to do and why .

Having patience is always a very big help .

And leave the cultures alone . Just watch them and leave them alone . one of the biggest problems for beginners is buisy hands = picking them up , messing around with them , opening them .

I've only done growboxes so far, but I have a grow kit lying around with a few inoculation syringes to really start myself (with all the new legislation in the netherlands, you never know when they will ban grow boxes in Europe, too!)

What I know from the grow boxes is that it's not rocket science to grow mushrooms! It's a lot easier than growing good weed for example. If you follow the basic sterility rules you can't make any major mistakes. If you follow the basic steps and always keep your hands and everything involved basically sterile, then everything will be fine. Just imagine you're doing a heart surgery and keep everything as sterile as you would if you had to. But then it's not heart surgery, it's much easier

i got one of those growkits last week and kept it (according to instructions) under water for a few hours, put it in this bag they come with and started to wait… since there are just a few of these "bunches" where the shrooms will grow, i put it on a darker warmer place and then they grow like hell?

best to keep ´em warm & dark - am i right?
