I guess I am a "psychonaut"...

well I didn't see trails (cannabis doesn't do that for me) but there was something making me do this, not like I was possessed, I could stop if I wanted to but only if I concentrated in stopping, not thinking too much about it and the process would kick in again :smoke:

Psychedelics, unless introduced by others through a cliché and spiritually mediocre or non existent set and setting, induce a marked increase in ones own psyche and awareness. This usually comes from the fact that the people who rightfully consume them and have the true transcendent and full experience are already on that path to enlightenment in the first place; the psychedelics find them and open the new and unseen pathways for their lives and minds from a journey started by themselves, however unknowingly, through their human experience and exploration into the mystical and untold realms outside the superficial decadence of our societies measure of intellect. Usually these people are inclined creatively in their scope during early years and it is how they channel this that unlocks certain doors.

This, through the synesthesia that is pertinent in the psychedelic experience, enhances the creativity of a person through the ability to actively transfer concepts and ideas through previously fabricated and sturdy external synthetic boundaries (the ego is among these) built to both succumb to the will of the controlling society and deal with a routine and predictable life.
After these are smashed and the brain and mind moves within and without in its sectors previously alienated, then it can transfer the same energy of thought into adjacent and previously unrelated sectors, generating an infinite wealth of possibility within the conscious and unconscious mind.

It is simply the continued evolution into the infinite that the person has started themselves by merely being alive and the external and internal forces present up until the point of discovery, psychedelic or not.
Education and unconstrained knowledge play crucial roles, as the more doors that are slammed shut by the society in which they must conform, only leads to the cancerous degradation of that persons true humanity and they merely become another faceless piece in a blank puzzle that the puppet masters slowly piece together for their own pleasure and your continued ignorance and slavery. It is this factor which destroys the true human potential and creates nothing more than constriction and pain, which leads to nothing but a non existent enrichment of the universe through their inevitable and pointless death resulting from this said demeanour.

The path to enlightenment and an open and expanded mind must be inherent in the psychonaut or traveller even before they discover the beauty off these divine substances and this nourished and nurtured by an unending and free pool of knowledge and wisdom that they can access indefinitely before and after the point of realisation, among many.

This is what is lacking, and this is why we are sadly the minority in a world that scorns and detests anything outside of their control which in fact does not even belong to them or exist and a life lead by them which itself is utterly pointless. The thought that drives the body has gone, replaced by a synthetic program built for efficiency and control over the subordinates for exploitation of every vestige of material beauty and power inherit in this world.

Matter is being artificially denigrated by a macro-disease as the only truth in an existence driven by the meaningless and fruitless culmination of itself; where as the anti-matter, the conscious experience, the infinity, the life, has been downgraded to the point of not existing at all; the essential and constant co-existence has been 'intellectually defiled'.

Whoops! I went a bit off topic here didn’t I; oh well, the point remains that a true psychonaut does not need the 'drugs' at all but utilises them as a guide into realms and dimensions previously unattainable in the closed perception of our power culture; one which needs to be destroyed along with the contracted perception that it brings. Psychedelics are a powerful and symbiotic companion, through which we can experience the endless beauty of reality.

And the geometric patterns are a sign of this synesthesia, a link between the mind and brains sectors into an unrestricted embodiment of true experience, along with of course these perceptions into the outside world that is constantly moving and shifting in this manner and others, yet is unperceivable to our regulated minds unless psychedelics and other means of enlightenment are utilised with respect.

Congratulations on joining the community and realizing something inherent in yourself. Another step along the path, one which is created and walked by you and guided with our escort, the psychedelics!

Peace.

thanks for all these kind words buffachino!! it's really inspiring and cool to read all this things here!

But as you say, sadly, I consider myself part of a minority and can't help to think what's different in me? I realize stuff that makes perfectly good sense and it's really weird that more people do not find this also...

Now you got me thinking, what's different in me from, for instance, my sister? she also smokes cannabis but, believe me, I haven't found any evidence of consciousness expansion or "enlightenment" in her, not in the least, in fact she seems weirder to me every day because I find her to be like a zombie, going through life bouncing off of walls and never stopping to consider taking a path or analyze what she's doing or something... I'm derailing...

So it's clear that psychedelics are not magical artifacts that "smarts up" people just like that, they are tools that appeal only to those that seek the altered states and actually know a bit of what they're looking for, so...

Why me? why you? why us?

Sorry for asking a lot of questions  it's not like I hope you answer everything because it's really an issue of human nature, I guess, so maybe... there aren't definite answers??

Again sorry for the lots of questions  but there's something that really interests me and you all in this board know a lot more about this than me...

I'm thinking of the so called bad trips, because from what I know and have read this happens either because the setting it's not favorable or... people just weren't ready for the trip, because when these things are considered it's expected that the ones who take the heavy psychedelics, even like LSD, have good and cool experiences.

Bringing my sister again to topic, I'm SURE that somehow she's going to mess up if she were going to have a major altered state of consciousness, like form the heavy psychedelics, uff I can't even imagine the consequences, even when smoking cannabis, high potency stuff, she couldn't sleep because she "was seeing things" and was really scared so if I was to give to her some good stuff I would probably have to give her course or something cause I KNOW her mind could not deal with this...

It's like people who aren't up to the experience can't "get it"??

Open question: what do you all think of the "why" of a bad trip??

We should really make this organization or something, where people could go, be trained and informed about the experience and then after graduating or something then they would be administered some good mushrooms so they can have a really cool experience, like the greeks did thousands of year ago!! I know T. Leary tried to do something like that a while ago in Mexico :D [/i]

You sound like an honest , thinking , careing person to me and i like what you have said and how you have said it . Your sister sounds like she is a bit of an escapist abusing cannabis and could be heading for trouble . If psychedelics were "legal" there could be legal control , help in difficult situations , sensible advice , and usage training . I think many people have difficult experiences because of bad quality substances , to small doses wich only leave them thinking instead of propelling them into a state where they stop thinking in words and are just aware of themselves and the world around them , plus through being brain washed into believing that what they are doing is more dangerous than it is and because of the guilty conscience that we are trained to have when we do something "illegal" . I have come to the conclusion that not so intelligent people have less difficult experiences than more intelligent . Legalise it and then it can be controlled , at the moment it is ignored and they pretend that it is not there wich causes even more problems . Illegality provokes problems .
