WOW, that IS a brainwashing camp, that should be illegal. These kids are becoming brainwashed into all the worlds bullshit. They are not able to think for themselves, which is very very sad. Something desperatly needs to change in this world.
my heart goes out to those poor little kids, who have no choice in life, because their parent force them to these "camps" and they become brainwashed, and then can never grow to think for themselves.

The problem is when the people making the laws are Christians, they tend to force their morals on the rest of us. Separation of church and state my ass.
10 years ago I would have been that kid, stubborn, with all the answers my parents and religion taught me about drugs. What partially led me to my interest in psychedelics is that all the drug users I ever met were for the most part, somewhat sane, calm, intelligent, open and decent, completely contrary to all the BS propaganda I was taught. (Of course, what worked for me may not work for all).
A lot of Christians I've met really believe that psychedelics are tools of Satan, you just can't reason with that because by proxy as a user of psychedelics you are a part of Satan's world and hence anything you say is a product of Satan. It is the perfect ad hominem.

my drug using friends are in most part junkies and abuse substances. only one of them is aspiring to the enlightenment brought by psychedelics and entheogens
and i've done my share of proselitism on the psy side of drug USE against the ABUSE and now reading this post i wonder if i'm not any worse than the christian we were talking about at the beginning of this post

All religious arguments that lack 'the' entheogenic experience, can safely be dismissed as missing the most important part of the story.
Any argument depicting Jesus as a historic figure, can be dismissed as non sense, not true, as 'wrong', non-scientific (jsut as calling the earth flat these days).
Any discussion mentioning Paul as being proof for christianity, depicting him as the first 'good' christian, can be dismissed as complete non sense since ALL of Pauls writings in the new testament have been proven forgeries. Paul was a pagan 'leader' who did not believe in a historical Jesus (as orginal writings which actually have been attributed to Paul, clearly show.)
For that matter, the so called apostles in the new testament, cannot even agree what day Jesus was born (he wasn't) and when he died (he didn't). For example, one guy sets Jesus birthdate a couple of years AFTER he died according to another guy.
Moses never existed, Jesus never did, John the baptist also never existed. Jesus story, the crucified savior myth, has been told at least thirty times in the thousands of years preceding Jesus supposed time. This has been known by the christian church since centuries (ponder that for a while...) and their explanation is that 'the devil put stories of Jesus in time before he lived, to confuse his followers.

Yeah my friends were pretty much into weed and psychedelics. If they had been junkies I can see how that would have permanently scarred me for life against ever having an open mind about ethnogens. I was fortunate enough to discover pretty early that there was a profound difference between junkies and potheads (even moreso the moderate smokers), even though the media doesn't distinguish. Drop acid once and you are just like a junkie. It's the D word, Drug. As if it is all the same.
I remember when I was like 19 having an argument with a friend of mine who smoked weed and I was using the same old anti-drug argument "OMG you are changing the chemicals in your brain" as if that was supposed to actually be something people didn't already know. I hope to bump into him someday and spin vinyl and smoke a few big fat j's!
