growing the kit

hi, except the little green mold problem (my non-sterility fault) a big part of the kit is still doing good, i have many caps growing upwards from the sides now, but what the weird happening is , all mushies come from below the vermiculate part. is it normal all the time, this is my first grow, and i'm in a :think: mood

and the f0cking mold. does it unhealthy to eat the mushrooms now, because the mushies are seeming healthy but dunno much about the mold problem, if anyone experienced, i'm welcome to help

Mold is like AIDS to shrooms.
Once you got it, you can't get rid of it.
And it will spread throughout your entire cake.

If I were you I'd cut out the mold ASAP and try to save them. Most likley it's already too late. :frown:
