I grew tired of waiting for my buddy to show up with his camera so I did the best I could with my crappy webcam lmao!!





And here's a pic of my other kit. It's about 1-2 days behind the first kit.

1. how much would you say you spent on this
2. how do you get this stuff, i'd think it was illegal, or that if you bought it, the cops would come to your house soon as the package was delivered

1. I spent €75 on 2 large grow kits from a website.
2. Grow kits with mycelium are legal to order in my country. It's when u activate your grow kits u actually break the law. Just google shrooms and you'll find loads of websites to order from. ;-)

P.S. I think the police has more important stuff to do than bust hobby mycologists like me lol.

Daaaaaaaamn this babies grow fast. Tonight I will harvest my first flush. The other kit will have to wait a few days more.

Just harvested my first flush man did I get some fat shrooms. My friend came over with the camera and documented everything! Now I've put the shrooms on a grill-bar and put them in the closet dark and cozy for their drying. =)

The other kit should be ready to harvest in 2-3 days I think. ^^

This growkit thing is very nice. I harvested about 600 grams fresh in five flushes. About the legality you should check the information on the website of your legal department. In holland it is okay to grow them, as long as you don't dry them, because then you clearly intend on using them as drugs. But then again: these babies dry by themselves, so how does that work legally? Are they saying "you should eat them before they dry out, because otherwise you are breaking the law"? I can't imagine. But it sounds nice.

Just one Q: Is it ok to dry them in the closet in total darkness if I remember to air out the closet every other hour?

If it's a normal sized closet, they'll dry fine. I dry my own also in a closet and sometimes I'm not around to air out the closet in days. In my case they are usually dry and crispy in about three days.

Enough for your first trip? I'd advise to go with 15-20 fresh (1,5-2g dried).

Well Viaticus.. I don't know if it's the finn blood in me but.. I ate almost the whole first flush within 2 h 30 min. I've got about 4-5 pcs of 5 cm shrooms + some tiny ones left of the first flush (barely 1 g dry). I didn't get any visions or what you would call a decent trip. Believe me it was a very good flush. I must've ate atleast 50 g fresh. I'll post a pic of the whole flush later when I get the pics sent from my buddy. I noticed some really vague "glimmering", "waves" and something that looked like wall paper patterns sometimes. One time I even saw somekind of "neon light" shining from the submit-button and review-button but that's it. Nothing else. I feel ripped off to be honest with you. What did I do wrong?

Why I ate it that way (about 2-4 medium sized shrooms per 30 min) was because I didn't have a scale at home and I didn't want to have a too strong trip! Well.. I've harvested the other kit just now and then dunked it. It's in the fridge now for 24 h. The other kit has already developed nice, healthy mycelium and I'm waiting for the first pins to pop up for my 2nd flush.

I won't touch a shroom in 3-4 weeks now. I'll just keep them in my closet for a week to be sure that they're bone dry. Then I'll store them in a tin box. Don't have an air tight one but I'll just put a plastic bag over the tin box and then the lid on top of that. That way it'll be air tight!!

Next trip I'll go for 2-3 g of dry shrooms and maybe some MAO inhibitor or orange juice. We'll see what happens!!

Yesterday I harvested my first flush on the other kit. The shrooms were almost all of same size. Don't know how much fresh it was but the shrooms almost covered the whole kit. . Now they're drying in my closet and I'm waiting for new shrooms in one kit and the other one is in the fridge atm. ^^

What did I do wrong?

It was your first trip, right? Then you probably have to get used to the feeling and have to learn to let it all go. We've all been there, and it takes one to three times before you can experience them fully. Another possibility is that the reverse tolerance cought up with you when you still had relatively little shrooms inside you. The last option I can think of is that you have an incredibly weak batch of shrooms, cause 50 grams is most of the times more than enough to send you off. But I would go with the first option, it was probably your mind being overprotective. Don't rush in with the MAO-I's or orange juice teks, cause it is better to be safe than sorry. And you will be sorry if you OD. I think a good idea for you would be to trip with someone you trust, either together or as a sitter, cause then you know you will be alright and won't cling on to your *normal* state of mind as much as otherwise. Another great thing is to go outside. It is hard for you to understand that your walls will start to breath, but it is easier to grasp that trees move when you look at them. It is far easier to see the beauty in nature than in a man made box.

lol today I harvested the second flush totally unexpected harvest!! They grow so fast!!!

Took some spore prints aswell from these fat bastards!!

Now they're drying up nicely in my closet where its dark, warm and dry!

Tomorrow might be a harvest day for the other grow box! Maybe tomorrow or the day after.
