I know what you mean and i`m all for it but i think the emphasis should be on learnig good ways to do it and use it , on learning ritual . On how to talk to others about it , so , holidas , togetherness and real serious drug education mixed with fun . But not with the emphasis on DRUGS = it would be crap if people just turned up and fucked themsselves with drugs in the name of Psychonaut . No one can expect others to organise trips that will tuirn out good every time or to take the responsibility for others who take drugs . A bit of cannabis here and there is OK but industrial conveyor belt trip orgies is a dumb idea . Its one thing organiseing tours , a party and education and another haveing hard core kamakasis fucking their heads in the name of psychonautics . There are always very many people here who want to take trips but experience has shown that one needs to get to know them over a long time and sort the wheat from the chaff .

No , it came from Planetarium in Nijmegen and was / is called "Smoke bubble" . They seem to be not in buisness anymore but it wasnt the only place i`ve seen them or the only manufacturer .

I've been to the Planetarium quite a few times when I was a kid.
But I'd have to try that one out.
I think eagle bill's also a handy and portable one, little bit more fragile though, because it's made of glass.

Yes, all very good ideas. I've seen some smartshops already doing some of those things, but it could be done better and more extensively.

And yes, we carry those Smoke bubble / Vapo2 vaporizers, though we've not given them a very prominent place yet. It's indeed cheap and functional.

Yes, I tried out the V-Tower Xtreme this Saturday, because that's what the customer I mentioned earlier came to buy. I've tried to refill a couple of other vaporizers, and compared to them, it's quite easy to refill the Tower, even when the heating element is still hot. The glass extraction chamber (where you put the herb) will be very warm, but tolerable (not as cool and comfy as the Volcano, but OK), and you don't have to hold the entire set upside down in order to refill either. I think you can put quite a lot of weed into the herb chamber at once. Inhaling with the fan on was very nice, but it's not necessary. In any case the tube was long and sturdy. The balloon turned out to be quite large, and it fills up reasonably fast. All in all I liked it a lot more than the HerbalAire, various "Nobel VP" models and the Dutch 'Verdamper'.

The V-Tower is basicly the same as the X-treme
Although it doesn't have a remote controll and such.
At the moment I haven't got a budget at all, but will save up for the V-tower
Also handy for incence, now I still lay the herbs on coal, but it completely fogs up the house

I know you work hard and your time is filled and i know your a clever , dedicated guy . What about thinking about it a bit and maybe comeing up with a plan . At least a start , a sort of XXL psychonaut meeting like the one you just had at your house but bigger . Each time adding a dimension . For instance a party with a city tour first . Or at least a mini XXL psychonaut party . Maybe mixing that with some of Forks meetings and lectures + a few info papers . Of cource not the whole spectrum of psaible ideas all at once but a start is a start . A vist to the shop , a look at sensi seeds and then visits to a few of the coffee shops where Amsterdamers go with a visit to the hash museum and maybe the melkweg or paradiso afterwards . I`ve been to Amsterdam loads of times and that was the thing that was always missing and that i would have paid for . The worst thing about Amsterdam is being treated like a tourist and a real live Dutch guide would be the cats wiskers / the crack .

I was more thinking of a guidebook than a real person. of course you can't establish drug tourism in a way that you cart loads of people on mushrooms through amsterdam, or even on a smaller scale.
the guidebook would contain good, essential information about drugs, the possible dangers etc.. just like a guidebook about trekking in nepal would contain information on acute mountain sickness. not only dangers, also the good sides of course, that's what it's about.
but since most psychoactives are illegal practically anywhere in the world it would be hard to write a guidebook for travelling + drugs. especially the topic of acquiring the desired substance.

an xxl-psychonaut meeting would be very nice.

Thats the big problem . People jumping off bridges and takeing responsibility for others that one doesnt realy know . A few smokes , a tour and some info is one thing , a party another and a load of hippys out of their brains on to much acid a total different thing . I`d take part in the first two but not the third , at least unrill i had met someone at least several times and got to know them well . There would also have to be a safe place to do it .

Oops, I meant the Arizer Xtreme. But don't save up for the remote control. It's practical, but probably not worth it if you have a tight budget. The balloon isn't essential either, and like I mentioned, neither is the fan.

Whats your favorite vaporiser ?

The Volcano Classic, Easy Valve. But I sure wish it had automatic switch-off, which only the Volcano Digit has. The reason I like the Volcano system most is that it's so easy to refill the herb chamber, and that you can take the balloons everywhere: kitchen, bathroom, garden, bedroom, up and down the stairs... They often get lost though. :wink:

The new shop has a video beamer in the back, and we want to sometimes or regularly organize film evenings there, showing movies and documentaries. We've got quite a few to choose from. The one about Richard Evans Schultes for example, or just some good old Cheech & Chong movies. We'd love to cooperate with Stichting OPEN in this regard, and perhaps we could host another Psychonaut Meeting later this year.

Yoiu dont need to show one very often at borders but checks are still posible there , but you do need to have one . Can you imagine what would happen to me if i got stoped anywhere outside the country i live in and they asked for identity papers and i couldnt show any ?

It's basically a portable vaporizer... consisting of a small glass tube, you put your weed in one end of it, heat it with a lighter and inhale. costs about $15. i might have to try this!

The European equivalent of that is the Vapbong (most American and Canadian vaporizer companies don't want to distribute their products in Europe). I've tried the ' original' Vapbong in 2006, but immediately scorched the herb (admittedly I used the wrong type of lighter) and then broke one of the glass pieces... But there's an improved version now, which is much more durable. You can read about it in several languages here: http://www.vapbong.com/

Realize that only a tiny bit of herb fits into the device (compared with the Vapo2 for example), so you have to refill often.
