I can relate to a general feeling of dissapointment towards the forum or some of it's members, but how is forsaking this 'hell-hole'(sarcastic naturally) going to change this?

Also, you don't have to reply to topics you don't like, and you can ignore posts that you don't like(you can even ignore specific members)

I became a Pope in Italy the day before yesterday, as I listened to the words of RAW on my mp3-player.

I listened to "Robert Anton Wilson explains everything, or: Old Bob exposes his ignorance" for the first time this week, driving from the Netherlands to Damanhur near Torino, Italy. The lecture where he explains the Pope thing has bad sound quality, but is an hilarious listen.

Lots of other interesting thoughts, mentioning Randi, of the $1,000,000 paranormal challenge, in the lecture titled the new inquisition.

RAW is one of my very few heros. when i read him i feel the universe fold around me. eg. while reading Cosmic trigger i turned on the TV to watch the news. i put down the book, turned and turned on the box just as the reader was starting an article about 23 members of the Illuminati killing themselves in a cave in Switzerland(i think). it blew my mind. a day or 2 later two other mass suicides in other countries (Spain was one) totaling 23 people.

I would generally recommend RAW, no matter how. The more the Balkan sausage.

My favorite is still "Prometheus (Rising)" - I am not sure about the original title.

I am just reading Illuminatus again and it has changed so much. While the first time (I was 16 - read it about the same time as Karl Koch) I was mostly confused. I started to research a lot of history because of him and things started to happen in a bigger, funnier and weirder scale. Today his bokks are so easy, so clear, so normal to me.
I will terribly miss the assurance in my mind, that he is still around in a bioroboter, sitting on spaceship earth and making up funny, smart shit.
I am glad, that his mind is still here tho.

I have a politics professor that reminds of him. One time he got excited over some topic and I saw little balls of light being summoned over his head by his discordian vociferation! It was unbelievable.

Thats one of the big problems with pseudo spiritual psycho sekts . They tend to atract weak people who join and then think they are enlightened and start to spread / teach their sickness to other blind / weak people . Just like the jehovas witnesses and scientology , the deeper they get the more they loose contact with "reality" / everyday life and start to believe that they are gods tool and doing gods will . That they are helping people , when they are only seeking recognition and believe that if they can convince people that they are enlightened , have secret knowledge , they prove to that they have . If you believe the lies that i dont realy believe then they arent lies . Self substantiating feed back loops .

Finding "truth" is about emptying your head and looking for clarity and not filling it with dogma and pseudo spiritual dog shit .

I`m not anoyed i`m concerned about pseudo spiritual people preaching confused shit to others who are honestly seeking . Dogma , uniforms , priests and books full of hokus pokus never got anyone anywhere , all they did was spread blindness and confusion . If any of the people who preach their secret knowledge here realy had any they would shine , they would be their own adverts , all i see are false profets talking crap and using platitudes to try to boost their egos . If their books or philosophys had any truth in them they would be sold out on the first day and within a week everyone on the planet who was interested in spirituality would be enlightened .

I`m concerned that the world is rapidly sinking into another dark ages full of ignorance , false profets and all the negative things that that brings with it . Unfortunately many loonys have computers and can spread their poison through the net as if it were fact .

my cousin died in a car accident on the 23.april 1999, he was 23, he had not slept for 23 hours, the road was route 23 and before him that year, 23 died in car accidents on that road. All hail Eris!
