Frozen shrooms

Hello everybody
I have an important question for me: CAN I FREEZE MY FRESH SHROOOMS?
Somebody told me that don't destroy psylocibine and psylocine.
Is it true?
Please give me some advice.

Freezing your mushrooms will not destroy psylocibine/psylocine, although i dont know what that will do to the mushrooms.
Perhaps someone else know that?

I thought u have to dry them first and then u can freeze em..

Yeah first, you will need to dry em and when there in the fridge add something that will eat the moist away. So very cold and very dry is the key to freezing shrooms...

if you have to dry them before it's really of no use putting them in the fridge or freezer......dry, air tight sealed, in a dark dry place they stay active for month...even years (but that one I never tested ;P

I also tought it would not work.

I drank 1 glass and tripped my head of ! I almost got to the point of losing it.......

A friend of mine drank the rest and he said it was working just fine !!

or icelollyshroompops, maybe add some flavour to it, cause plain they would be nasty.

I also heard it's a good idea to grind the dried shrooms to a powder before freezing them in. Don't really remember why... Guess it had to do with still some remnants of water in the shrooms or something. You could also make pills out of the dried shrooms, so you can measure them exactly.

Grinding them would have a good effect because the surface is bigger so they dried out better. This is also makes the Psilocybin more vonurable for oxidation with air or water because of the big surface. So grinding them, and then dry them with some silica should give probably the best effects.

Don't freeze fresh mushrooms whatever you do,when you go to thaw them out you will end up with a disgusting mess.Keeping them airtight in the freezer when dry they can be good for a long long time.

Yes and I would like know whats happens with fresh shrooms when I freeze them?
