First Trip... Want to TRIP !!!!

Just wondering: Might your fear not get in the way of getting a good trip? If you are afraid you will not get what you want, then perhaps you might not get it... i.e. If I desperately want to trip, then I want it too much, hoping that it will happen and being afraid that it won't. In a trip your worst fears can become reality, so instead of being open to the experience you close it off by becoming too involved, by wanting too much. Any thoughts about this???
