They look very healthy!

Hm, that 26 years old peyote witch you have your thumb near isn't too little for so much time? Well I know peyote takes much time to grow, but didn'nt knew that was that long.

Keep taking care of them :)

WHAT U SEE IS NORMAL CACTI GROWTH, NORMAL BODY, NORMAL FLOWER! I COULD "ENLARGE THEM" BUT THAT WASN'T MY MISSION! U WILL SEE SPROUTS PHOTOS AFTER 2-3 MORE YEARS! LIKE THOSE CACTI WITH 26-8YEARS BUT NEVER THE SAME! SHAPE AND EVERYTHING ELSE YES, BUT "SPINES-MUFFS" NEVER! LOOK AT PHOTO WITH SEED GROWN CACTI! HE HAVE 3 YEARS NOW! IT'S SIZE IS LIKE CIGARETTE RED-HOT-HEAD(CAN'T REMEMBER NAME)! NO MORE OR LESS!

Wow! :D That's such a nice collection!

Are you ever going to consume these? It'd be hard to do actually. It are childeren.

are you going to try to extract some mescalne at some point or is it just for the pleasure of growing

Really nice cacti!! Respect.
I noticed new growt on all my san pedro's today, I wonder how much they will grow this year.

press the "capslock"-button once, it's on the left side of the keyboard

and now serious; very nice cacti, nice flowers too.

Wow really impressive!...I'm a huge fan of Succulents so this has been a real treat!!! My collection is mostly Jade Plants ( Crassula ovata ) but I also have a few other succulents and cacti that I have picked up over the years.

I have used cacti from photos. Every small couples in bigger pots were 24-26year old Peyote I think! And what U see now are sprouts which arrived from big roots. Roots are like this: 13-17cm long and 5-7cm wide on biggest part of cacti roots from where green body grows out! So 5-7cm under soil for some 4cm. After that roots become thiner. Cause they need to be vain like cause smaller vain better absorbs water and minerals from soil.

Great stuff Goran, beautiful babies!
Good to see you're still around :D

Lophora looks very healthy, and those flowers are wonderful! :D are all of them reproduced by cutting?

The echinopsis is very nice too, and I also see it has got a little pot, I expected a bigger one.

I'm interested in more photos, specially from the Echinopsis

PEYOTE ISN'T CUTTING PLANTS! ONLY ECHINOPSIS

OK, THANX. But U can call them babies! But me? Can but also in big dilemma cause they doesn't have right size for their age! They are babies if we stick to definition what baby is and from what kind source baby grows. Seed baby or cutting sprout baby, this are babies. But when U have so old roots like me (some is older then 25 and some is 2 years younger then 26 so I will declare that roots have 25 years.(one year less or 2 years more, doesn't matter)

I will post new pict. Of sprouts! And tell me if this is normal size of 3years old "BABY"!? Also have couple 3 years old real seed baby Peyotes and they doesn't have no similarity to those which arrive from 25 year old roots. Just look at pictures and tell me do U have cacti such size after 3 years. And those 3 years aren't even finished. they have 2years and 6-8months. 8) :)

P.S. I am big fellow, 187cm, round 98-100kg so my hands and fingers aren't like chop sticks! Consider that when U look at my photos.

so you say if a peyote with strong roots has been cut and its growing new sprouts the sprouts grow twice as fast as regular seed grown baby peyotes? interesting to know, never knew how fast the grow rate of new pups was :P

Not twice!! For 3/4 years of primal peyote cacti life, after it's cut of, sprouts will grow one time faster for those 3/4 years then usually! So if U have 10year old cacti and cut it of, sprouts will grow faster and bigger 2,5X time then usually. Which means that cacti from 10year old root will gather 2,5years for each year that normal seed cacti do! Also mature faster, flower faster, seed pods grow more sooner! Yes, for 10year old roots would be 2,5X years acceleration time.

This are my babies! And no way that I am going to make some kind of extraction doing on them. Just to milk out alkaloids from them. But when time is right and wild call from wind arrives, I will make brew from some of them. Just like I did it before 3 years ago.

30cm is myth! Maybe truth in some occasions, special time and parameters which acts on cacti growth. Once per life Echinopsis cacti grows 30cm per year. BUT ONLY ONCE! Normal growing rate is 15-24cm per year.

IF SOMEONE HAVE CACTI WHICH GROWS MORE IN MEDIUM CLIMATE LIKE EUROPEAN EAGER TO HEAR THAT!

Sometimes I have urge to write with "caps-lock" down! Maybe someone annoyed by this, but I only would like to give higher perceptive expression to members what I am saying right now. So don't take that as something foolish. I will try to lower such amount of "caps-up" posts.

perhaps in a really good year a Pedro can grow 30 cm, but on a average I think it will not grow more than 25 cm in one year. mine grew about 20 cm last year.

nice cactus. i'd be lying if i said i wasnt envious.

Depends if U have small cutting or one other of many possible sizes.
One time I have received 7cm wide Echinopsis pachanoi cutting with 9cm in height. This cacti cutting came straight from Peru! Friend of mine worked on tourists cruisers as barmen and similar jobs. And he decide to use his vocation on Peru, 2 weeks he stayed over there before ship cruised round some islands and picked him up. Mean time he somewhat introduced himself to Peruvian culture. And one thing what he has learned was magical and psychoactive properties of San Pedro cacti. So he find cacti bush(he told me that Pedro cacti grows literally everywhere! Like Ambrosia in Europe! Also Pedro in nature rarely grows as solo plant, common are bushes with 5-6 cacti&roots to 50cacti&roots in 3-3,5meter height!)  8) :) )
and cut of tops with axe.

And one of those cuttings arrived to my collection. Already cacti produced roots when it arrived. First year cacti only changed color on top of it, from dark green to light green with also gray like green color between ribs and stretched some 3-4cm. Next year really wide cacti top(7cm) starts to shape up by stretching up, and shrinking into smaller 4cm wide cacti top. That year cacti grow no more then 10cm.
When it shaped up from so wide base into smaller body cacti starts to take 12-15cm more next 2 or 3 years. Really don't know when I received it. Somewhere I have picture of this cacti when I received it and when I find it will post it as edit to this reply. But latest pictures of cacti I have and going to post them once again.

This is one good example how Pedro grows and that U can't stick to shops tells how it grows 30cm per year! :!:

ah I thought about why your cactus was fat at the bottom and skinny at the rest of the cactus but that explains why :P nice cactus btw :)
