I was into bodybuilding a year ago, didn't qualify for a competition so now i just keep myself in good regular shape, eat healthy and trim my brain.

^ Same. Although there is no such thing as natural competetive bodybuilding. I have got no problem myself when atlethes using steroids to enhance their physiques. I just ain't gonna do it myself.

Just trying to keep up my shape, endurance and strength. Love to squat and deadlift heavy. Using my fish oil, proteins, fruits, carbs, and try to drink 6 cups of coffee to get motion into my bloodstream.

Psychedelics are to the mind what exercise is to the body. There is a similar vitally in exercising heavy and recovering from a trip. Both a phase of relaxtion and feeling opened in a very subtle and satisfied way.

GOD a dit:
What are "BCAAs" and "ofc" ?????

Amino acids, the moleculs from where proteins are made of. Absorpted rapidly in the blood within 10 minutes and peaking within 20 minutes. Due to the fast metabolizing, atlethes takes these to prevent catabolic states during long and heavy exercise. Fast recovery, and no discomfort on the stomach.

^^walking is excellent excersise Ghostlyone. much kinder on the knees than running and burns the same number of calories per mile

What are "BCAAs" and "ofc" ????? Some sort of secret insider code ??????

Thank you . ( am i an insider now ??? ) Are they harvested from dead animals ?

I think they are synthesized, but I may be wrong there. In any case whey protein naturallly contains a high percentage of BCAA's.

haha srry god I know you don't like secret codes
ofc= of course ofc :P

Branched chain amino acids: l-valine, l-leucine and l-isoleucine.

Yep. Protein is broken down to these components. So before protein enters the bloodstream, the body starts a whole process to break it down into BCCA's. This requires some time (up to hours). If atlethes need an acute restoring of their depots, they can't wait that long. So with ingesting BCCA's, there's no phase of changing proteins into amino acids, and therefore, it safes time.

I found it much easyer to train after smoking .

Yeah I noticed that too, last summer I did a lot of biking and I had much more endurance and cardio when I was stoned, the difference was so big that sometimes I was scared I was pushing my body beyond its limits without noticing because I was too stoned. I would easily get up a big slope and keep going very fast, while I knew that when sober my legs usually hurt a lot and I'm completely exhausted at the top.

Is there an explanation?

^^ its a state of mind thing. usually your mind is thinking up excuses not to do anything long before you are tired. if you have a smoke you forget to think up excuses. its amazing how much energy you really have if you can stop your mind getting in the way. if you want to explore the link between the mind and energy practice standing zen. you will learn something very important

your mind is your best friend and your greatest enemy

it doesnt aply to all sports though. my Sifu would insist i turned up for training even if i had been up all night drinking, but (though he had nothing against cannabis although he doesnt smoke) insisted there was no point in turning up stoned. it really does interfere with reflex and learning some things.getting hit in the face repeatedly teaches you a lot about that

beer is good if you want to put on muscle mass though. im not sure if its insulin related, blood flow or what

beer is good if you want to put on muscle mass

I've heard differntly.. I heard it lowers your testosterone and growth hormone levels and is therefor in fact a very bad thing if you want to gain muscle mass
I could be wrong ofc :?

this is so true and it's really quite amazing. I had the opportunity to appreciate it myself one time I was in this park (Tayrona) near my home city where you had to sort of hike and get through odd terrains to get to the beach I was going to camp in. Because a friend's girlfriend couldn't really carry her stuff we divided it between me and another friend. The stuff I got was heavier than everything I brought... after a while we consciously decided that we couldn't go on because we had reached our physical limits or something. But this happened 3 or 4 times.....

It's like the body let's us know that we have reached a limit but it has reserves just in case... or this says something about how we always want to make the least effort possible???

What were the wonderfull life saving things she had packed that weighed so much ???? The fridge , half the bathroom and her wardrobe ??????

:)

oh she had lots of heavy canned food and like four bags. I don't think she would repeat the experience...
