I did shrooms quit often in the past, but the last time i did them was more then three years ago.
After all those years i'm feeling like doing shrooms again, together with a friend who isn't experienced with shrooms or any other substances, except for cannabis and alcohol.

In the past, i ate a lot of different species.
But i can't really remember what the differences are between the species.
Are there any?

When i did shrooms, i took them in variable amounts, and it was almost always an good experience, but couldn't get a clear vision about the differences.

Can someone please enlighten me? 8)

In special this species: Golden Teacher, Mexican, Colombian and Philipines.
This are some species Azarius is selling. And if i'm going to order some, then it'll be there i guess, so that's why

The differences between species mainly consist in the effects ; some shroom species can give a more mentally-centered trip whereas others can give a physically-centered one for exemple.

The mexican shrooms I've eaten have always given me good trips with visuals at medium doses and some kind of "back and forth flowing trip" : thoughout the plateau phase of the trip I could feel like I was coming down but no sooner had I thought that fact than I was sent back to the outer space ! Kinda strange but not unpleasant.

'hope my English isn't too bad...I have the feeling that my syntax is weird tonite :?

Psilocybe mushrooms contain Psilocybin and Psilocin or just Psilocin . Psilocybin gets converted to Psilocin in your stomach . So the trip you get is always a Psilocin trip . The only reported diference is that the mushrooms that only contain Psilocin are said to come on a little faster and softer . That doesnt mean less hallucinogenic . Some Psilocybe mushrooms also contain Baeocystin in variable concentration wich is reported to give the trip a bit of a kick/rough edge . It would be imposible for anyone to take the diferent types of P.Cubensis and tell wich was wich .

I personaly am sure that nobody could take any Psilocybin mushrooms without knowing what they are and be able to say which was wich .

You take different varieties and you think "hey this one gave me a more colorful trip than the last" - but that's usually bullshit because next time you take the same variety again and the trip is 100% different from the last. How a trip turns out depends on so many factors (the good old set and setting).

I can remember from Hofmanns "LSD my problem child" that the curandera Maria Sabina acknowledged that Hofmann and Wasson (I think it was Wasson?) had successfully "captured the spirit of the mushroom in capsules". They had given her chemically pure psilocybin capsules - it was also considered the proof for them that the effect of shrooms was only connected to psilocybin/psilocin and nothing else.

GOD a dit:

I know that. I always said that somewhere on this forum
But i was wondering if there where any other differences (i wasn't according to the effects).
