Ok now i understand . It couldnt have been to dry it must have been the CO2 .

Please let us know how you get on and ask if you have any questions .

GOD a dit:
It definately has enough water or you wouldnt have so much condensed water on the sides

In growkits there should be more condense then the pic is showing!
Condense like this:

Why oh why do you give information that doesn't fit the story man?
Cuz you are paranoid and they are watching?

DVS you should've wrapped the carton where they came in wrapped around the kit! That keeps warmth in and that prevents mushrooms growing where they shouldn't grow.
Now light is getting in there everywhere.
And don't forget to ventilate!!!

Mushrooms are grown underneath trees. And even underneath trees there's a lot of CO² to breathe! They look for warmth, wetness and air!
A bag over the kit is good, but they still need ventilation!
That filter just won't do for maximum result!

Even better, you can soak growkits for 12 hours, throw the water out and leave them in a dark place at 30°C for a week, then give them light and air to get an even more higher yield!
IF you are dutch mushplanet.com is your site for experience mate!

alright cool, thanks god for your patience and understanding, and canna there was quite alot of water up the insides of the bag but like i said above you cant see it because of the way the light is reflecting onto the fish tank, its just a poor quality photo so please excuse any confusion i have caused you due to this source of infomation being taken on an old mobile phone.
Either way after the thoughts posted i have come to the conclusion that i will deffinitly need to fan the kit and that was my downfall last time also i will cover the sides to prevent side pinning.
thanks to everyone for there knowledge, i will let you guys know how my next kit goes, youv all been a great help
peace

"Why oh why do you give information that doesn't fit the story man? "

I`m getting sick to death of your begginners big headed big mouthed ignorant comments . As i said the myceleum is white and healthy , if it was to dry it wouldnt be . If the bag was closed its imposible that there wasnt enough moisture in it . Get some real experience and stop passing on web shit that youve read about on kiddy sites .

"Mushrooms are grown underneath trees."

Psilocybe Cubensis grow/are grown under trees ?

"30°C"

Is to hot . The best temperature for growing and fruiting is 23 - 25°C , at least acording to Jochen Garz and me . At 30°C you have more chance of contamination .

How do i know that . Because i know Jochen Garz , Christian Raetsch , Bert Marco Schuldes and other experts and i have more than 20 years of hands on grow experience .

Heres something that kiddy web sites and pseudo experts with no real experience say is imposible . But i can do it . Its Psilocybe Cyanescens growing indoors .

hey again guys, my grow box finished soaking last night, and i just have one quick question that im now confused about; is my temperature of 28C too high? because i hear canna saying 30c for the first week and also heard that would be too high (which i initially thought) if it is then would it be too risky trying to grow them at 28C, as just my luck for my first day on the grow the weather starts getting warmer, thanks people :)

30°C is only good for mycilium to develop (as I said then)
For shrooms it must be somewhere between 22°C and 24°C

@God,

The pf-tek you are showing in that bowl is infected

What are you talking about now ?

You don't see it? Or what do I see there?

Its a shadow .

Aaah ok!!
Though, it looks like an infection man... it really doesn't look like a shadow.
But it is your photo, so you know best, I guess?

hey again guys, this morning (10 days after first soak) loads of really tiny pins have started to show up accompanied
by loads of tiny pointed up strands of mycelium,
would i be right in starting to fan now?

ps i cant take a picture of them due to my camera not being able to focus in on them cause them pins are tiny (sorry and thanks)

EDIT ok i started fanning, but the pins are kind of thin, any advice? :? (im now fanning 2-3 times a day)
maybe im just being pessimistic and paranoid

I was.

As soon as i saw them pins i started fanning 2-3 times a day
and also occasionally used a sprayer to spray water over the
top of the kit (not directly at the substrate) so it would
lightly fall onto it, just to stop it drying out.

In total i harvested 185 grams fresh.
The kit is now soaking for the next flush.

Thanks to the people that gave me there views.
Much love

They look lovely man!
Enjoy your trip :)
