great album, fascinating concept

According to John Balance, the premise behind this release is that hallucinogens act as time machines - they can conjure up histories of yourself and/or act as predictors of the future. In any case, they can remove you from "temporal reality". These tracks on this disc are not only formulas for hallucinogens, but the tracks have been tested, retested, rejected, et cetera.

1. 7-Methoxy-ß-Carboline: (Telepathine)
2. 2,5-Dimethoxy-4-Ethyl-Amphetamine: (DOET/Hecate)
3. 5-Methoxy-N, N-Dimethyl: (5-Me0-DMT)
4. 4-Indolol, 3-[2-(Dimethylamino)Ethyl]' Phosphate Ester: (Psilocybin)

The 5-Meo-DMT track really has that zooming sound you hear when smoking DMT :D

Coil
Although the album does sound kinda vague and distant (and old), where most of my trips are really warm and full (and hi-fi)

Space-is-the-Place - ever listen while on a corresponding psychoactive?

Definitely not on 5-MEO-DMT, wich can be horrifying already as it is without any music.
But I do recognize the feeling of the track though.
Psilocybin not so much, although I've tried listening to it while on shrooms and the music is intense when tripping, but I was up for some warm loving ambient and although very psychedelic, Time-Machines isn't very warm....
