The shit about argueing religeous reasons in court is shit . If you go to court for it you will be found guilty if its illegal in your country . The big risk is for the site that sells it . If its illegal in the country the site is in there MUST be something fishy going on . The US were closing sites like that more than 20 years ago even though they were using the religeous argument .

5 Meo-DMT has a reputation that its hard to smoke , that you need to mix it with some herb so it can "unfold" as it burns . When i used to buy it in the 70s it only worked about 50% of the times so i stoped buying it .

if you email them about this, saying they sold you fake, what sort of answer do you get, if any? just curious..

what does it smell like, look like taste like? is it soluble in water? alcohol? non polar solvents?

I guess you also tried different dosages and ways of smoking to make sure its not active..

I get paid friday, and I WILL buy the smallest increment and report back my results as well. If it is bunk, Ill definitely be able to tell.

I have a friend who ordered 5meo online and said it didnt work, but he never got it to work in the first place working with the toads, so... The 2c compounds he orders from the same people never fail, so I doubt the 5meo was bunk. By the way, the place Im referring to is OZ.
I too understand the difficulties of smoking 5meo and have experimented with many different methods, and BY FAR, the best method is an oil burner, aka the classic DMT pipe, you lose little to no smoke, and the resin is also good versus losing it into an un smokeable elbow or something similar.

And as far as NN versus 5meo, I think and believe 5meo is at least 4x as potent. I personally prefer 5meo because of my love for god, and the fact that I live in the sonoran desert and grew up with the toad ceremony.

I am interested in off season ceremony though, and do not want to stress the toads in any environment other than their natural one, besides doing tuberosa and other organic extractions, I think it would save time to be able to order online. I have before and it was very expensive, like 470 per G, versus this place at 150.

So yeah, spacetimetraveller, if you could get back to me on that, and if I missed where you answered my question before, I apologize, Im a bit cramped for time and I just now signed up to ask this question, although, I am sure I will traverse this place much more often since finding it! As

I am in my mid to late twenties.
There are a few different groups down here that use the alvarius sacrament, and they usually hold no dogmatic ideologies, and they are mostly not of indigenous origin, but are authentic in their intention, respect, and understanding. There are some that are fairly new, and some that have been around since before I was born.

I didnt know until recently, though when reading Maya Cosmogenesis by John Major Jenkins I found that some of the maya used the Bufo Alvarius. I had been looking for a culture that used it and could not find much until now.

Over at the Entheogenic Evolution podcast, there is an interview with the creator of a modern group called the Temple Of Awakening Divinity, you might find enjoyable. From what it sounds like, they are very similar to the groups here, Im not sure where they are at, but it is likely they are in the Sonoran desert.

Magicpencil is completely right with this statement, I'd also like to add that DMT and MeODMT have the same kind of relation as morphine does to Heroin - the diacetyl in heroin is helping the chemical get into the brain (more lipid soluble), as is the case with the MeO in 5-MeO DMT.

And by the looks of what I've been researching, its not just bufotenin that makes life hell for people smokin' toad venom - there's all sorts of nasty (and sometimes downright strange) stuff in it. I wish I knew what temperatures they all degraded at, then I could say with certainty if they're a potential problem or not.

As far as I know, it is considered the Sonoran Desert Toad, or colorado river toad, since the CO river runs down through the Sonoran desert. So northern mexico yes, CO, maybe, but supposedly not. I think I remember hearing that they do make it into southern co, but I imagine it would be too cold in most of the state.

And as for the Mayan usage, I agree, but they do have Toad statues, and aside from the Maya Cosmogenesis, I went to an exhibit recently that said they used toads for their psychedelic properties, but they claimed it was the Bufo Marinus.

Personally, I have never had any sort of undesirable side effects from the Alvarius, I do know, many people have trouble 'letting go' or 'surrendering' and thus the trip is difficult and seems undesirable. From what I have read about 5-ho-dmt it causes nausea and physical maladies, but I have also read it is inactive. I personally have never experienced such symptoms.

Could you give me a link to these supposed nasties in the Alvarius venom?

The most interesting compounds are peptides, but, assuming they're destroyed, it leaves the cardiac / toxic steroids and alkaloids to be woried about, and theres an absolute soup of them found in various venoms - it seems some may be sequestered from prey (millipedes etc.) and some are endogenous .

Most research is done on "chan su" which is more of a generic title of toad venom used in chinese medicine, and the paper above is identifying *metabolites* so perhaps not ideal in this case.

He took 400 mg of Virola theiodora resin and put it into 1 size OO capsule. It fit perfectly into the capsule. He took this orally with a glass of water. No MAOI was taken. After about 10 minutes he started feeling a very slight 5-MeO-DMT stimulant effect. It seemed to peak after about 1 hour but he’s not sure, the peak was difficult to determine. The overall effects lasted about 3 hours. The effects were threshold. It was enough for mild euphoria, slight stimulation, and a mild tryptamine bodily sensation. 5-MeO-DMT is most interesting when taken orally, snorted, or taken sublingually.

By those routes, it's one of SWIM's favorite experiences, up there with mushrooms, mescaline, LSD, bufotenine, DMT, etc. It reminds SWIM of mescaline, but without all the visuals.

But when smoked, it's really freaky. It’s like putting your head in a psychedelic blender. SWIM hates it that way. It’s almost a completely different experience. I hits you like a bomb. Just completely unpleasant. But some people do like it that way.

Well first off, I get the first tidbit of shamanic toad use from maya cosmogenesis, then the exhibition I went to was on Mayan and Guatemalan shamanism which was far from a fringe display, all of the artifacts supposedly were linked to shamanic use. It was on campus at the University of Arizona, so at least this specific contemporary academia believes they held spiritual reverence with the toads, but like I said, they said it was mirinus not alvarius.

Proof is relative my friend, and you know this.
