Twenty minutes ago I started learning Spanish

does that mean i should expect some new topics in the spanish section? hasta ahora hay solo 2 o 3 topics activos que en su mayoría consisten de posts míos o de nomada.

i like to..
read
smoke the holy weed
search for the definition of things
learn proper english
surf the web high randomly but not fruitlessly
read anything associated with the mind or brain or consciousness or self-awareness (inclusive disjunction)
draw
learn about animals i don't already know of and their behaviour
program and learn about things related to programming and manipulating computers (i have just 1 year of exp.. but i know stuff)
also, i like recursiveness, patterns, loops and spirals
looking at high res pics of insects (and really anything in great detaill and upclose and with insane res) like this one this other or this or this one (i watched that last for what felt like an hour when i found it)
oh and trying to raise my self-awareness to the hyper levels achieved with drugs at any given moment throughout the day
and reading :)

i love physical activity. not a big fan of sports though, with the exception of soccer. skateboarding, hiking, camping, rock climbing, beerpong, finding great movies, music, research, meditation, consciousness expansion, substances that aid in that process.

basically i want to do as many different things that i can before i die. that goes for drugs too. i recently quit smoking cigarettes after about 4 years, i've tried many various drugs, just so that i can say for a fact that i dont like them, and be able to articulate why. i think it's important to have experience if not expertise in as many fields as reasonably possible.

Si, me gusta nomada. Necesito ayuda. ?Dónde está la farmacia?

learn proper english
This year I downloaded several English vocabulary programs, and though most were useful, there was only one that was particularly enjoyable and educational: Charles Harrington Elster's Verbal Advantage program. It's on 24 CD's (one and a half GB). And it's not just words: he also talks a lot about grammar, pronunciation, etymology, mythology, history etc. He has a nice voice to listen to (American English) and a good sense of humor.

For those looking for audio-programs to learn a new language, try looking for Rosetta Stone, I'm sporadically trying to learn Spanish and Japanese with it. There's more languages available too.

It's a sunny morning, and I feel like I'm still dreaming.. :bear:
In a moment I'm gonna prepare some breakfast, but I'm gonna keep it simple and efficient; a bowl of Brinta with milk, Maca, anise, and clovepowder. Yum yum

After that I'm going to cycle to my work, but I'm going to detour via the dunes, enjoy the seabreeze and the wide horizon :)
I'm off for the afternoon, so I want to clean the place up here and have a look at my colonizing jars. Have to do a lot of preparations still for the growing season that is to come, I have lots of different seeds I want to sow this month, and some cuttings too. But I still need more soil and pots and stuff.

I'm not sure what this night will bring, but I wish you all a lot of fun with your passtimes ;) Just enjoy the moment

I have a little love for photography, both doing it and looking at the stuff of others. recently I'm trying to learn a lot of new stuff, I make good progress so far I think, I developed a fairly good eye for light by now. also I'm slowly getting the principles of composition, of which I had no understanding at all some time ago, but it should come from the inside anyway. considering composition before taking a photo is like thinking about the law of gravity before going out for a walk.

weed - nothing to add.

listening music/discovering new music

travelling!

spinning my poi :D

hiking mountains/camping/walking in the forest or countryside

meeting friends of course

surfing the net

also my bicycle is pretty important in my spare time :)
